Oishi

It was my first time ordering from Oishi and it was a delightful experience! The couple who runs the restaurant are so friendly, and a few regulars came in while I was waiting - clearly this place is well-loved. I got the sweet potato maki and a dragon roll with edamame on the side. The prices are stellar and the food was great! The dragon roll was especially good. I would say my only complaint is that the rice was a little dry/tough, but overall everything was well prepared. Happy that I have a new local sushi spot to add to my list, I’ll definitely be going back!

I have always liked Oishi for their guaranteed freshness every time! I called last-minute on NYE to place an order, and they were happy to help me without any issue. Needless to say, they outdid themselves by creating a beautiful display of our favorite sushi rolls and appetizers!!! Superb customer service, and the chef is creative:combining new and different ingredients like avocado, fruit (mango/pineapple), vegetables and sauces. If you haven't already, you must try the Hawaiian maki roll! Thank you, Oishi!

Food was delivered to wrong address, I called the restaurant they barely spoke English, they refused to do a corrective action, they refuse to remove trash and would not take care of a bad customer experience. ! Whether it was through GrubHub or not they should feel responsible for the fact that they prepared the food! Now I have trash in the hall that is rotting and attracting bugs I refuse to pay for somebody else's trash! Who pays $37 for a kid's meal to start with!

Amazing , if I had one word to explain this place amazing would be the word I’d use. Looks like a hole in the wall that you would just get take out from , but looks ARE deceiving! The sushi is amazing , price is amazing , even the waitress was amazingly kind. Go here for lunch. For under 50$ with tip I filled my belly and cured the gf of her hangery. Will be going back

I would have given them 5 stars but customer service ruined it! I ordered spicy salmon roll and veggie roll but got this instead. When I called to inform them about the error they accused me of lying and then got hung up on when trying to explain the situation. Then they decided to call a coworker who placed the order and told them that they double checked my food and that it was there. Confused because the bags of food was in my office and they’re at the restaurant so I don’t know how they’re able to verify what is in my bag but non the less they called my coworker a liar also and hung up on him. Unfortunate because the food is good but service was the top of the line terrible!!!

Visiting in town and decided to come and try this for lunch. Easy location to find but not much space on the inside. Lots of to go orders so that didn't seem to be a problem. If you're looking for a formal sitdown place with proper service, this is not it (nothing a bad way, just dont expect what you'd get at a sit down place). I found the employees to be friendly and prompt in helping me with a lot of energy and potential for more. I ordered both a sushi roll and spicy ramen with pork. The sushi was delicious but the ramen not so much. The ramen had a little spice that wasn't overwhelming but no umami to be had. The noodles are clearly of the instant ramen type which is a major let down. The flavor was heavy in salt and not much else. The pork could have used a slightly more fatty cut to give a deeper flavor and the egg was overcooked and I didnt bother with it. Overall friendly, but unfortunately nothing better than average.

All of the rolls are delicious, made with love & care. The place that taught me how to eat sushi. My sushi journey became here, when this place first oppened I used to live around the corner & was curious about Oishi when it first opened. Andy & May are so welcoming every time I go in for some Sushi. They also helped me develop my palate by having me try new things and guiding me through sushi starting with the California roll (not raw) til I fell in lovewith raw sushi.
