A great local restaurant bar...where you will always be greeted by a family member, either Dr. P or Mama...great Italian chef originally from Mama Leone's in NYC...now creates some fantastic Italian dishes. And the prices are reasonable. Also, great place for an event. I hosted many events here and they worked around my budget, we had plenty of food and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. And look for the special events featuring some of the greatest entertainment around.

A hidden jewel!! I have been visiting the GRILLE 57 on a regular basis for over 10 years. One of the most consistent food establishments in the city.
Great specials prepared by long time chefs in an opened kitchen atmosphere, where you can directly interact with the kitchen staff. Makes me feel at home! Fresh seafood - Friday’s great haddock specials, sirloin sizzler, chicken parmigiana among my favorites!!
BIG PORTIONS, REASONABLE PRICES!
A must visit in the city!

They were having a bridal party so when we arrived there were only 6 tables. 3 were reserved for reservations.
There were 2 waitstaff, 2 cooks and maybe an owner (older woman who just checked on people and staff).
The weird part was that none on the remaining six tables came in at the same time yet the menus were not available. What would have happened if there was no party? Order more menu for every seat you have.
For having a small staff the food was cooked and brought out timely. The staff the pleasant. I got my own pitcher of water so I was happy.
The chicken penne broccoli was in the bland side. The cream sauce was watery. However I have no complaints.
The antipasto was very tasty but I would have liked less dressing.
Hubby ordered the special steak. Presentation was great. Flavor was great. It was slightly overcooked but I'm not sure if it was due to the steak being placed on a skillet and continued to cook while hubby was distracted or the chef over cooked it. The portion size was crazy large. It did have lots of fat around the edges.
The cannoli's were delicious and stuffed to order.

The resom why i love this place is because back in the day when it was a night club called Bravos i used to visit it all the time it was actually the first night club i ever went to. So thats why. Plus i know the owner n hes moms.

Ayo Peter my Friend.. Its like a scene from the god farther or one of the clubs in GoodFellas - all the smoke but u and ur mom nd same croud every friday i have been over 5 years. Great food. Great drinks. Great Karaoke. U could getba 🎱 table it wouldnt hurt or evan like a skee ball table.?

Good Food, we went on a Friday night when they were having a bridal shower. The table was a bit cold every-time the door opened, but other than that the food and service were excellent.

Place was dirty and food was horrible. Staff and owner nice enough but a facad I think.. we had 3 dinners taken off of our bill out of 8 people. Ugh. Not good! 😞
