Fair size building. It was a cinema in a former life. Its been fitted out very nice and it still retains a lot of its former glory. It was quiet when we went in but pleasant enough. As usual with Wetherspoons Great prices
Food has definitely had an uplift in quality in recent times, assuming there is new kitchen staff, service is usually fairly quick, even when busy.

Had a lovely time in here on Saturday. I'm coeliac and a young lady was very helpful explaining the allergy menu to me. Enjoyed steak and chips. We went back Sunday morning and had a cooked breakfast. Sadly that was cold so we didn't enjoy that.
Very busy when i arrived but i was served quickly and my order was delivered correctly, hot and well presented.. exactly the level of service i have come to expect from a Wetherspoons regardless of location.

Comfortable oasis in rather a non happening town. A ten minute walk from the main railway station. Pub was spacious and well set out. Easy to find somewhere comfortable to enjoy a drink or food. Quick service, decent staff and clean tables! Well worth the time taken to give a good review. Nice histo
Cheap drink and a nice atmosphere.Service quite good but typically Weatherspoons always a lack of staff.
Wetherspoon do good job of the pub in UK, good beer good food the day we went it was very busy had good meal and good service.
The site of an old theatre, cinema and a number of nightclubs, the breakfast here just hit the spot! Excellent variety as per normal from a Wetherspoons!

Great place especially Emma the floor staff girl very funny and talkative made me smile
Very typical spoons cheap pint at 2.50 on carlsberg, had 10oz rump with chips was OK steak good I think I could have done with at least 1 side though, still good value with a pint under 10quid
Nice and clean good prices staff are a bit glum missing a bit of background music or something to cheer it up
