As a regular customer of Papas, but only just getting round to writing a review, I wanted to say this is without doubt the best Fish and Chip restaurant for miles around.
The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is amazing, great quality, cooked to perfection and good value. Thank you!
PS never said it at the time but the delivery service, particularly during COVID, was a life saver!
Had a really great experience, came in was greeted with an extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the fish and chips were perfect and I’m usually very picky, the fish was flaky and the batter was crisp. The chips were great and portions were good size overall a great experience. Proper good scran. Great value

Excellent front of house staff, good portion sizes (compared to our usual fish and chip shop). Cod was lovely and flaky with a crisp batter, chips where cooked almost perfectly, mushy peas a bit on the dry side but still not bad at all. Expect a wait especially on a Friday evening, might be worth ordering ahead.

I'm from Yorkshire so this takes some saying these fish n chip take some beating even in Yorkshire 5 or 6 years since i last visited here was delivering to the business park just up the road I'll be back SOON
We called in for lunch today.
Cod and chips for both of us with tea.
Food was excellent, well cooked and piping hot.
We were looked after by Madison who was very pleasant and when she wasn't serving she was cleaning.
Good experience at a good price.
Great chips and fish called on our way back from skegness. We will definitely call again.
