Perfect place to go to enjoy wonderful homemade food and to be served by friendly efficient staff always cheerful, helpful and make you feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a special occasion and ordered a Victoria Sponge Cake to be picked up. My guests and I all agreed it was the best we had ever tasted. It was so fresh and baked that day.

Kelly and Ruth made our beautiful wedding cake which was a 3-tier buttercream pumpkin spice cake with incredibly intricate, edible, autumnal decorations. Kelly & Ruth were really helpful in the design, letting us know how it would work as well as listening carefully to our ideas. They also kindly created some slices for us to try before we confirmed the flavour! As and when I had questions Kelly & Ruth was super easy to get hold of. On the day of the wedding Kelly & Ruth came to the venue to carefully assemble the cake, thoughtfully placing each decoration in order to ensure it was perfection! The cake looked absolutely beautiful and was exactly as we imagined. The guests and my suppliers were in awe and every single one of our guests, without exception, complimented the cake! Everyone thought it was delicious as well! Kelly & Ruth are expert cake makers and if you haven’t had a slice of one of their cakes yet then I recommend you get yourself to The Old Bakehouse ASAP! Thank you so much for our beautiful wedding cake, I know how much time, love and care went into making it.

Hands down one of the best Bacon, Brie and cranberry paninis I have ever had! This mixed with a beautiful building and lovely garden in the back. A perfect place to stop with my daughter for a quiet and relaxed break after school where she enjoyed a wonderful hot chocolate stacked with helpings of cream and marshmallows! (Child heaven) and a delightful coffee for myself. The staff are charming, very helpful and very polite. We will certainly be returning here again. Fantastic.
