The Lido Restaurant

Decided to pop into Worthing and after walking on the prom got a little peckish. Well, what a delight this cafe turned out to be. A very warm welcome, the food was excellent, well cooked and served by a delightful, energetic, pleasant young lady that nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic range of cakes were on offer too. The furnishings are a little dated here but that's not important, we sat outside near the beach anyway . My flat white coffee was also spot-on for flavour and presentation. But, this cafe has to be the best value for money in the whole of Worthing too!

Given 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 as it isn't actually a bad place to get a bite to eat, but what it does have is a nice view of the sea and beach to enjoy. The cafe was extremely warm during time of visit (summer month), and the price for 2 people for lunch at £15 seemed very reasonable... I'd happily return again

Long time since I was a regular visitor to the Café and very sad the current situation of this iconic Worthing venue. However the Café is managing it's limited premises and still offering a welcome and good food at a reasonable price. My scampi and chips were beautifully cooked and the portion generous. Everything (including the "facilities") was spotlessly clean. On the basis of Use It or Lose It, show support for the restoration of these buildings before it's too late, please.

This is a regular haunt for my parents and when my sister, brother and I can go we do! All day brekkie is great value. Service is always great as is the food and nothing is too much trouble. Easy access for all. Toilets on the premises and a real sense of being at the seaside. When the weather plays ball there are good views. Never had a bad meal there
