Had my daughters birthday party here today, the food, service and quality was amazing. The staff couldn’t have done any better!! I highly recommend Val’s cafe for a party. My daughter had an amazing time. For the service and food we received the price was extremely reasonable. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work, it is very much appreciated.
Took the car for a service and whilst there popped into this lovely little cafe just for a coffee but ended up having breakfast as well lovely vegetarian sausage butty for myself and bacon,sausage and egg for the hubby i must say it was lovely and the place was so clean and spotless and all that also came with very friendly service i can highly recommend this beautiful little cafe...
I’d been recommended Val’s Cafe for a long time but never had the chance to get down there. When I was eventually able to, I was not disappointed! Welcoming from the second you walk in from Val herself and Chris in the kitchen. Really good sized tasty breakfast (especially the scrambled egg!) and the best coffee in Worthing!! Seriously good value and highly recommended!! Thank you Val and Chris!!

Such a lovely cafe, family friendly, we came to celebrate our nieces 8th birthday, children and adults equally we catered for with gorgeous food and very lovely staff � and the best carrot cake ever!!
I have been to Val's cafe on a number of occasions now and had the delight of trying their full English breakfast, Sunday roasts and their homemade cakes which are Incredible! I even made a cheeky request for a particular cake which they then made the following week :-). The café is clean and inviting and the service is with a smile. A lovely place to meet with friends and family.
Good luck, Val & Chris with the cafe. I hsve been a customer of previous owner, Jason for many years and the cafe now looks lovely and beautifully decorated. Good Bacon Sandwhiches with Brown Sauce too.

We like it so much that we decided to do our baby’s first birthday in there and it worked out perfectly!
A brilliant venue nothing is too much trouble and both Val and Chris are as lovely as the food and drink provided. We recently had the wake here following my step fathers funeral, we had traditional afternoon tea and everyone who came said how lovely it was.

We've been to Rise a couple of times now, the latest over the weekend with family and every time we've been it's been lovely! The variety of foods on the menu is great and the service has been fantastic. 100% recommend and will of course be returning when we are in Worthing again.

Amazing food and glorious service! We love coming here! I’ve been a few times with my partner, kids and veggie and vegan friends and we always eat so well! The food is clearly made with love because it is consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Great food, lovely atmosphere, Highly recommend!
Wonderful little spot for great home cooked food. The breakfast is unreal, the coffees delicious, the cakes are all incredible, and the staff are all super lovely. It's my favourite spot to eat in Worthing when I take my daughter to the beach.

It was busy but despite that, our food came out within 10 minutes, piping hot and absolutely perfect. It was a tricky order too, everyone had something different plus drinks were out of the ordinary but no mistakes and both ladies were great. We will be back xx

Where do I start...
I only randomly came across this Cafe through a search via Google maps.
I'm not local, I was looking for an area Atkins Worthing where I can use their facilities to undertake a staff catch I manage around these areas. When I contacted and spoken to the staff member to discuss my needs. He was very accommodating.
On arrival they had the table reserved for me with a power supply for my laptop.
I had a Mocha which was very well presented, shame I forgot to take a photo of it. I was here for several hours, and the staff were very accommodating throughout. Later in the afternoon, I ordered a Jacket, Cheese, Beans with Mushrooms which included Salads. I was rather surprised and taken by their salad. It was not the usual just chopped up standard salad, it was well seasoned with the unusual ingredients. It went down a treat along with the Jacket potato.
I would highly recommend this cafe, the prices I found were quite reasonably cheap in my opinion.
And if I were to visit this area in future, I would certainly look to stop by here again!
Gorgeous little cafe serving real food that is made with love. Service was speedy, prices are fantastic, and staff are wonderful. A real gem of a place. We’ve must return to sample the deserts, which sounded mouth-wateringly good!

Laura and her team of very good staff never fail to produce very good food. It not only tastes amazing but it is also stunningly presented, with attention to detail. Good value aswell, whats not to like. Would recommend to everyone

Great food, lovely atmosphere and top service! Best breakfasts in Worthing, and delicious vegetarian options. Definitely recommend visiting this cafe if you’re in the area.
Nice little cafe, food was great. Only issue I had was that the main door does not close on its own so had to deal with a draft but that was solved by moving to a different table. Would recommend going again for lunch.

Visited Val’s cafe on 3 or 4 occasions whilst working down in Worthing. Each & every time we enjoyed delicious food, great coffee and a very warm welcome. A great place which totally deserves a visit if you fancy a good traditional English Cafe. Thank you all at Val’s!!
