Review Cotton Arms - Wrenbury

Food is amazing, good portions, well presented and cooked perfect. Serving staff happy and smiling and very professional, even asking if my wife's guide dog wanted a bowl of water. 👌👏👏👏 We had the black pudding to start. Chicken kebab and advacado bacon salad for mains. No room for dessert. But 4 pints of beer and a couple of soft drinks the total was £45 then a £5 tip to say thanks... Happy is us..🙋‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️🦮

Lovely place. Stayed in the big field out the back in our twin axle caravan. Easy access, spaced out. No electric hook up where we stayed, had good sun Solar for the weekend. Not tried the food yet. But it has a tremendous Gluten Free menu.

Great value Sunday Roast in real pub atmosphere. Unfortunately pub is now closed.

Welcoming restaurant with a warm, cozy atmosphere and a fireplace to give it just a little extra ambience. We had the midweek 3 course special and it was mouthwatering. The servings were exceptionally generous. We were attended by the owner, Kim, who was so friendly and efficient without being obtrusive whilst her warm and friendly husband Jamie is the chef. We will definitely be back. I can highly recommend the Cotton Arms. A big thumbs-up from us. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The food here is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly and attentive. If I had to give a negative it would only be that the toilets are very tired and dated but that is all. Do not hesitate to visit, I can personally recommend the Beef Pie and Cheesecake 😀

A fantastic pub with great staff and excellent service. Food and beers are great and a good variety. There are camping facilities here with hard standing pitches and electric hook up as well as a rally field for groups of friends for camping weekends. Well worth a visit.

We stayed on the campsite behind the pub on the last night of a motorbike tour, and after two weeks on the road it was just what we needed. A good warm welcome, plenty of space to camp right next to the pub where we enjoyed two huge and delicious meals, a few drinks, and the pub quiz. The meals and drinks were good value, and the locals were friendly. What more can you ask for?

Lovely rustic pub serving food. Very friendly service. One or two cask ales on. Large camping field out back with loos. Recommended 🍻 🏕

We stayed at the camp site run by the Cotton Arms. Electricity was available, and the pitches were large. The toilets and showers were basic, but clean. While we were there, the Cotton Arms served breakfast and then went onto its all-day menu. We ate the evening meal on the first night, and lunch on the second day. The menu appears simple, but in fact it was a real gem with some delicious items to eat. Price wise the menu was also good value. Worth booking as can be very busy in the evening. The pub is also good for beer with quite a few hand pulled beers, and a strong cloudy cider along with various lagers. All the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to organise a taxi for us to attend a wedding. There are also nice walks along the canal path to help build your appetite.

We had a great time! It wasnt very busy but the people who were there were very nice and friendly. The wait staff was GREAT! and I'm addicted to Kingstone press wildberry cider!!! Thank you for a great night!!

This is a CamRA pub with a good range of ale, lager and cider all on tap. There's plenty of space to sit inside on both the bar and restaurant. They also do food and there is a sizable fire for the winter months as well as an outdoor area to the back for warmer evenings.

Food was amazing (several veggie options), and stayed for a few pints after. Decently priced. Staff are so friendly and attentive! Would 100% go back in future 😊🍻

The best burger in the area, and I've eaten a lot of burgers.....fresh steak mince cooked from fresh. Not over cooked and rubbery. Just seasoned simple and great. The staff were great too. An authentic pub, nothing contrived. I couldn't recommend this place enough. I'm sorry to say but this Burger beats Street and Deadwoods steakhouse easily. Plus it's burger is 2/3rds the price of Deadwoods top burger, yet stands head and shoulders above what is a good burger.

Don't order the seafood platter. I hate wasting food but gave up after the battered fish, three huge lumps of smoked salmon together with a doorstep of amazingly fresh grain bread and lashings of butter, king (or maybe banana) prawns, smoked salmon/ cream cheese rounduals, excellent salad, seafood cream pie (beautiful filo pastry)......wonderful, I shall probably do it again to night after fasting all day to ensure a clean plate.

Fantastic pub! We had the most superb Sunday lunch there yesterday & couldn't fault it. We ate every mouthwatering morsel. Also went there on Friday night & ate off the ordinary evening menu. Again, the food was delicious & couldn't fault it. On top of this there were at least 5 real ales on tap, so we were in heaven

Been here a few times over the last 12 months through the rookery crew. I was a bit wary at 1st but I can assure you it's outstanding and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place to anybody. Food service out of this world
