not only the best meal I've had in Wrexham, Carniboar also has one of the best burger menus I've ever seen. Staff are very welcoming, Thursday evening was Burger night. £15 for burger, fries and a drink. worth every penny 😋 absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere with good music at a good volume. Definitely returning for more and recommending to others!

No light lunch menu at the moment but I was told one is being introduced very soon only asked because you would not like to return to work after the hearty food you receive on the current menu

Came for a lovely evening with the girls. Lovely service off the ladies. Nice to be able to see into the kitchen and the chef's working. I had the sticky sausages for starter which were lovely. Then had the chicken burger for my main. It was a good portion size and very filling. The steaks the other girls had looked really nice. May try these next time. I think our waitress was called Ella and she was very sweet and polite. A nice first visit here.
Went early evening on a Saturday. Busy but not horrendous. Staff amazing,very helpful without being intrusive. Food superb,I had the surf and turf and struggled to get through it. Managed a pudding but don't think I could of managed 3 courses. Blown away,very impressive and we'll be back....herself wants to try the Sunday dinner🙈
100% recommend the Carniboar. We ordered the 2 meat sharing platter for 2 at £20 a head and large glasses of Malbec. You can choose between steak, belly pork, chicken, brisket or gammon. A 3 meat choice is £25 a head. It came with daupinoise potatoes, plenty of vegetables and a generous jug each of gorgeous gravy

Amazing food. We went twice in one week on holiday. But we live two hours away, but are planning a day trip so we can return. Amazing food. Every dish was a taste bub delight. Fantastic service.
Visited last week for birthday/date night. We both had the January offer of the steak special with a drink. Wow! Well worth the price. Service was fast and friendly
Was a lovely quiet location for my meal. Good polite service with no pushing for add ons for the meal. Feel sorry that there were a number of no shows on the day but still didn't spoil the meal.

Tried this restaurant for the first after loving their sister restaurant (The Fat boar) & honestly cannot fault! The steak was delicious & the staff were so friendly and happy to help - I can't wait to come back again!
I am now 53 and have been eating burgers since I was about 17 .. the double steak burger has to rank in my top 5 best burgers EVER... So so tasty. And the truffle and parmesan fries were perfect.
Fabulous food and service. I had the Steak Club offer which was a beautiful tender fillet steak, grilled beefsteak tomato, mushrooms,pepper sauce, battered onion rings, chips and a bowl of mac'n'cheese all for £20!!! Amazing value and everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Food is very good. We had a sharing steak platter, which works out about £70 for two but its great quality and very tasty. 😃

Walk-in Sunday dinner, very pleasant welcome, served by Ella and another young lady (didn't catch her name) both attentive yet subtle and professional.
Food - wow! Sharing Sunday platter, absolutely awesome, ribeye (and gammon offered by the chef) lots of very tasty accompaniments, red wine gravy everything excellently presented.
Really really refreshing random meal in Wrexham, transformed into a date night meal.

What really stands out here is the friendliness of the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and were very attentive. The food was also superb. I had the fillet and it superb!
First time here and cant beleive I havent been before. Amazing food, friendly and helpful staff, nothing negative at all. Absolute value for money. Cant wait to go back again!!
