This is my favourite restaurant in Essex, beautiful setting, amazing friendly staff and 1st class food !
I wish you could see the full 6 minutes of the video where Mimmo flambees the Grana Padano before adding the linguine and stirring in the exquisite finely grated truffle... Just divine!! If you find yourself anywhere near Writtle just be sure to pay a visit to this wonderful restaurant - you just know that you owe it to yourself to do so 😉 😋
Fantastic! The food was delicious and the service from the staff was exceptional. We were celebrating my MIL’s birthday and the staff overheard so when we ordered desserts, they brought hers out on a platter with “Happy Birthday” written on it. A small detail but it really was a lovely surprise and made our visit! We went Saturday lunchtime and they catered space for our buggy. I will most definitely be returning!
This place is incredible. The food is just perfect, and the service is great. Popped in for a Thursday night dinner and was very impressed with the whole experience. The staff are very attentive and the food turn around was very quick even when the venue got busier - will definitely be back!
We had a family meal celebrating a welcome to the world for Victoria and Chris's first child,staff, and food. It was tremendous. we couldn't fault anything recommend this establishment to everyone,just nice people doing a fabulous job.
Lovely Atmosphere, and the waiters and the staff were all very friendly and highly attentive.
The food and pasta was all very fresh and all home made.
Each of the dishes we had were absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend coming to here for a special occasion.
The restaurant is very near to the main green in Writtle and a Free Car Park is nearby.
I will definitely be eating here again.

Starter’s amazing (pork belly and scallops) main course risotto under seasoned but nice, lasagne disappointing- small piece of hard plastic found in dish. Unsure how something prepared on the premises could contain this. No explanation from our waiter.
Was busy when we were there.
The food was lovely and service exemplary. It was lunchtime and there were not very many people dining. However I prefer evenings in Olios for atmosphere. lovely restaurant would highly recommend
