Sunday lunch was a total success, from entering to leaving 100%. The service from the management and staff was top quality. The roast sirloin (2 slices) if put on top of each other you have a perfectly cooked pink 12oz steak. Lots of week day specials. We will be returning. Many thanks for a lovely day. Brian and Jen.

Called for a drink and sandwich and was immediately greeted by happy smiling staff. The sandwiches were hot beef on cabana bread with fries and salad my wife had a prawn Marie on brown it was also accompanied with fries and salad. Make no mistake these were huge sandwiches that were really great.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch here on 7th May. Food was Delicious, the best Roast I have had anywhere by far. Hats off to the chef. The staff were so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure our visit went perfectly. Can't fault one thing at all. Can't wait to go back. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. I would give 10 stars if I could. Dog friendly too so we were able to bring our little Pip with us. Amazing place.

An excellent stop for the night on my Hadrian's Wall walk. A lovely pub with very friendly owners. The beer, wine and food was great. I stayed the night in a very comfortable and quite room. This is a lovely place and I would stay there again.

Stayed during a bike trip along Hadrian’s Wall. Route 72. Bicycle storage lock up. Heating was put on to dry wet clothes out on arrival. Room was clean. Good atmosphere in the pub. Decent food / drink selection.

Starr to finish, excellent. Staff excellent, dog friendly. Clean throughout. Food? Partner opted for Lamb , myself chicken both coming with Roast and Mashed potato, carrot, green beans, parsnip, cauliflower and red cabbage. Dessert was best I have ever known.
