Booked an evening meal for Royal British Legion Riders, 25 of us. Meal was excellent and staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks to all staff
Liked it a very pleasant and enjoyable π way to end what had been a brilliant walk. From Newburn to Wylam. That I just did on my own. The forecast was not the best, but it was a wonderful day sunny and warm.π« ππ₯΅π

Ordered 4 meals, very good portions and very much "pub" food, nothing super fancy. All tasted good, also vegetarian options... Great service, friendly staff
Friendly Inn with good drinks and food. Some tables outside and you can enjoy a long evening sun at the terrace.
Has Sunday lunch. Lovely meat, plenty of veg. Order small portions but plenty on plate. Veg and extra gravy came separate. Good value for money.
Had a bacon, sausage and tomato bap washed down with a pint of Cruzcampo (just to break up the bike ride) Monday midday and very quiet. Was asked how I would like my bacon doing (nice touch) Food spot on and all very friendly here. Nice little boozer. Recommended 100 per cent.

Just been for Sunday lunch n was pleasantly surprised.its great value.i had regular turkey and my partner had small beef.both were served with yorkshire pud n creamy mash n stuffing ball n roast pots.also u get a side of vegetables: carrots ,peas, brocolli turnip n sprouts.really tasty. We'l be back.
I met friends I hadn't, seen for 16 months we had a fantastic day out, lovely friendly pub with great staff, my only question is whatever happened to the Bar Billiards table you had in the 70sπ nice afternoon
Only had drinks. Good choice, good price. Nice seating area outside. Request masks be worn whilst ordering.
It's really cosy, the staff is very friendly, the prices are accetable and the food is tasty, especially the chips.
Unplanned visit but worth it. Had a really full and tasty BLT sandwich with proper chips. Would have been even nicer in granary but my fault, didn't ask. Nice coffee with it. Ta.ππ

On a soaking wet cycle ride, an outdoor but covered area, nice coffee and delicious veggie lasagne was very welcome. Definitely plan to visit again.
Friendly staff, nice pint! Called in for one on the way home. Sat outside in the sun. It was busy but fast service, dog was welcome too. Will definitely call again π
We had a lovely meal here after a walk from Crawcrook to Wylam. The barman was very polite and quick to offer us drinks before giving us time to read the menu. The food was great and offered very good value for money, we'll be back soon!
