It’s not as lovely as the White Hart in my opinion, but the staff is very friendly and you have the opportunity to play darts and poole. But it was cosy with fire, loved it!

Great live music is what drew us in, it's got a lively atmosphere. The staff were working crazy hard but all kept smiling and being friendly. Who recommended for a lively night out.

Lively youngish clientele, occasionally noisy but good natured. Selection of real ales and quick service, well furnished and "old world charm". Prices competitive but not cheap.

Andy and Kat are absolutely fantastic hosts. With the live music playing, there's a real sense of community and Andy and Kat did a fantastic job of fostering it. I came up from London to see my friend play in the band, but the feeling of community and energy felt in this unassuming pub is something special. Definitely recommend and 100% visit when Red Leaf is playing!

Strong wet pub feel, epic centre of town ale house. Very cool old building that is slightly let down by generic/naff furnishings (this is during 2020 government imposed oppression. So I presume it’s different in more normal circumstances). Very good selection of well kept and very affordably priced drinks.

Never felt so welcome. Love the people that go in there. Great choice of lagers. Haven't tried the food but seen some great things come out of the kitchen. If you need a crossword solved Bobs your man.

Nice pub. Love the fire, and doggie friendly, so what could be better than sitting with a nice drink, in front of the fire with adoring eyes trying to scrounge a peanut.
