What a great find, we're so glad we decided to give this Greek restaurant a try as the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the dolmades to start, followed by chicken gyros platter and moussaka. Everything tasted great and the service was excellent.

Amazing place. Owner is very kind and helpful. Food was so nice and fresh, I honestly couldn't say a bad word about the place. Even the price was amazing, under £50 for 2 course adults meal and drinks. Will definitely be back.

Visit Alexandros for the true Greek flavour experience. This is one of only two restaurants in Manchester (the other one being Kosmos) that offer true Greek food. Alexandros's Greek cook ensures everything is done to perfection, and the food tastes what it's supposed to taste like - if you don't like it, you don't like Greek food!
For a taste of everything, try the mixed mezze - you can ask for veg or a mix of veg and meat for a complete experience.
This place has been amongst the top 3 restaurants in Manchester in TripAdvisor. Right now it's in the top 20 (out of nearly 2000 reviewed restaurants), and I do think that's too low.
Do try the Greek beer or the Ouzo to complete your Greek experience at Alexandros!

Great place with lovely staff! Only take out but seems like they’re planning on opening up shop in a couple of weeks. Warn and friendly staff that was more than helpful! Great food. Looking forward to visiting again, and hopefully dine in next time!

Just been here tonight and omg what a treat.. we ordered 2x 2person meze for 5 of us, it was so much food it would of easy feed 6 of us. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back. The service was fantastic. The waitress explained all the dishes and was very attentive. The chef came out to see where we were up to during the meze. He was lovely and told us not to fill up on pitta (this is great advice lol) This is a must visit place, highly recommended.

Went to this place last night and OMG beautiful. We had the meze for 2. You might think £48 was a bit pricey but let me tell you it was well worth it. Started with the pitta bread and dips. There was more than enough for 2. Then came the starters. Again - there was more than enough for 2. We didn’t even get to the meat dishes. The owner potted it all up and we have heated in the oven and had it for dinner tonight. It feed 3 adults. The food was amazing. Would strongly recommend. The young waiter was brilliant. I am just annoyed I didn’t take his name. For a young man he was full of confidence. Nothing was too much for him. A real gentleman and an absolute credit to the owners. This place is definitely are new go to place. Well done to the whole team

First time to Alexandros Greek restaurant. All I can say is that the food was amazing, the staff are friendly welcoming and made you feel at home. Nothing was to much. Looking forward to coming back and trying mazes. You get plenty of food.

Had a really nice meal on Saturday night - we normally have 3 starters and then a short break and then 3 more starters - basically you just create your own mezze then you can have exactly what you want. Food was very good as was the house white wine by the carafe. A couple of Greek coffees and a Metaxa and Tia Maria finished a very pleasant evening. Not too busy for a Saturday but enough customers around. Good service. Overall bill very reasonable for what we had.<br/><br/>If I had to make any negative comments then maybe the interior decor could now do with a bit of an overhaul? Also, when the owner came out later, he did the usual rounds of the tables but for whatever reason didn't come to ours - a quick "how is everything?" would have sufficed. <br/><br/>Still warrants 5 stars though!

A great little Greek restaurant on the outskirts of Manchester. Worth the trip out to Northenden. This place instantly felt like the local Greek restaurant of the suburbs. Very welcoming, friendly staff. The chef was very proud of his food and checked in with every table. We enjoy our meal, dolmades for starters, lamb kleftiko and garides saganaki for our mains along with a carafe of Greek red wine. The portions are huge so go easy on the starters.

At a guess, I’d say Alexandros is the best restaurant in Northenden. Is it the second best restaurant in Manchester? I don’t know and to be honest, I don’t care. I don’t do lists; they’re for people with no memory. I have a good memory and I remember that Alexandros was bloody good. So good, in fact, it’s on my list of places to revisit.
