The Walnut Tree - Yalding - Photo album

Had an awesome lunch this afternoon using a Groupon voucher. Two courses and a glass of wine each. The food and service was amazing, I could not believe the quality and freshness. Some of the best food I’ve had in awhile. Katie V our waitress was lovely ,attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely pub. Dog friendly. Staff lovely
We read the reviews before having Sunday lunch and was nearly put off but we did have a Sunday lunch, the food was lovely, piping hot and loads of it! We would definitely return, it’s a lovely pub
Was passing in the car, looked inviting so stopped for coffee, then looked at the Sunday menu and decided to eat, we both had a roast with turkey, it was really nice good home cooked food with plenty of veg, gravy and Yorkshire pudding, reasonably priced and very friendly owners and staff, unfortuna
Good pub lunch had the steak and blue cheese pie and was lovely, loved the historic feel of the place
Lovely friendly and atmosphere. Great service and food.
My second visit here. Food was very good but service was very slow! May have been just a off day!
Chose a very quiet time, no one else in Restaurant Food good, service ok, will go again.
Great little pub in the heart of Yalding. The restaurant is spacious and well appointed. The food was cooked to a good standered. The only criticism I have is the cauliflower cheese needed more cheese in the white sauce. Pictured is the carvery.
Great food, great drink. A beautiful and warm environment. I've not met a single member of staff that isn't just lovely. Even the punters are all lovely. By far, the best pub in Yalding. Highly recommend, and highly rate. They even have space for private events in... Something I've been heavily thin

Lovely meal . Traditional pub fayre done well. I had fillet steak cooked to perfection. Portions very generous so rather regretted ordering a starter, delicious tho it was! Very friendly, obliging service.
Lovely old pub with superb staff and good beer too. We had a slightly longer (not excessive) wait for our food after arriving at a busy period, but the staff were very aware and looked after us. Good advice on allergies and importantly the food was lovely. Dark Star beer is recommended too.
Visited with my wife, booked in advance for a late lunch. We had a voucher from Travelzoo, for a 3 course meal. The outside of the pub has so much character, and that continues inside. The restaurant area isn't big, about 8 tables, mixed from seating 4, to a couple for larger groups. There is also a
