My husband and I dined here to celebrate our Anniversary. The food was delicious. We started with the home made potato chips in Parmesan cream sauce with bacon and green onions. I ordered the fried clam dinner and my husband had the wedge salad with chicken. The clams were sweet and delicious. None were spared. We had a beautiful view of the Royal River.

Loved the food and the staff. The kids loved all but their onion rings 🤣 forgot to take a picture of the table top but it was a map. Very awesome.

Exceptional service, attentive waitress, personable staff, and quick seating.
About the food:
1. Seafood cake: they didn't skimp on the ingredients. It was fresh, well cooked and flavorful. I just wish there were 2 cakes for the price.
2. Calamari: cooked crispy by request but still soft and well seasoned. The sauce was a great addition. Great contender with the fried calamari at Petey's seafood restaurant.
3. Caesar salad: fresh greens; nothing wilting or soggy. No complaints
4. Risotto with lobster: well cooked lobster. Great flavor. Filling.
5. Chicken pasta with additional shrimp: additional shrimp is $8
6. Carrot cake with butter cream icing and vanilla ice cream: a must have if you've got a dessert craving. Not too sweet. Melts in your mouth. I had to save a piece for later. The slice was huge.

Husband and I ate for dinner. I had the lobster croissant with sweet potato fries. My husband had 2 cups of soup. One lobster bisque and one clam chowder. And we took home a heavenly slice of blueberry pie. All of it was delicious. Staff was friendly and establishment is very clean.

It was delicious. They’re short staffed right now (like all of the restaurant industry). The food was top notch, really nice ambiance and friendly service. Ordered off menu take out & enjoyed the view from the patio - Love the setting !

We had a very nice dinner here tonight. Nothing fancy, but a good variety of seafood dishes. Shrimp cocktail, oysters, calamari (with a yummy Thai dipping sauce) were all good. Lobster bisque is on the thick side, but tasty. Short ribs were a little fatty, but very flavorful. All reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Would definitely stop again when in the Freeport area!

My son and I were visiting from out of town and found this lovely place for dinner. I have a gluten allergy and most of the time have difficulty finding a restaurant. The environment was nice. Staff very friendly. Nice choices on the menu. Gluten free options. My son had the seafood scampi and I had the same but gluten free. Everything delicious. Our waitress Ellen D. Was excellent, very attentive to our needs and just had this warmth to her that made me feel like I was family. She truly is a gem. Thank you Ellen
