Since its refresh earlier in the year this place has become a new favourite of mine. While I wouldn't call myself a regular I do still feel welcome when calling in. The decor is tasteful as it is modern and clean but with a traditional pub style and feel. The place has several high quality TVs for watching sport and no matter where you sit you should be able to watch what's on. The drinks selection is good and prices are very, very reasonable. My drink of choice; Coors is £2.50 a pint. While the ever popular Carling is just £2.30! They have a couple of hand pulled ales which I won't experience until winter comes around and my tastes change. The facilities are good if a little cramped in the gents, and the beer garden is a pleasant enough place to sit in the sun. Despite it being on a cobbled slope and right next to a busy road. They take card with no minimum charge which for me is a make or break thing. There is also a pool table that I have not yet used so I don't know how good it is. All in all a very pleasant local that I look forward to spending more time in.

Decent pub with a good selection of draughts and bottles, and friendly staff. We were there when there was a band on, its always good to see pubs putting on entertainment for their punters, both regular and casual. Only down side we saw was the state of the men's toilets, there must have been a few guys that didn't know how to aim that night.
