Nice clean place, friendly staff and fast service. Ablutions are also clean and tidy. Breakfast 3 and 4 were just what the Dr ordered 😋

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. Walked around town to the other shops that do a cooked breakfast and even though they had empty tables each said they were fully booked. Poppins, walked in sat down and served within 2 minutes. Definitely will go again.

Came here for the first time at the start of the month after seeing this place for so long and never pulling the trigger of going in and I think this place is my new go too for breakfast, was quiet but yet had a nice atmosphere, friendly waiter and a really nice place to relax for some food, great

Poppins is the old fashioned English cafe updated. The seats and tables look similar but the quality us better, the lighting is brighter, and things are clean and hygienic. Very obliging swapping out foods I couldn't eat and doubling up, or not charging more for additional items. Food not greasy. The place is clean. Usually very busy. Swift service and food arrives always quicker than expected. Chair and bench seating. Disabled access but toilet up stairs.
