The best cake I have ever had! In this case, a marvelous lemon drizzle. Spectacular. Homemade. I will definitely come again. The only thing I would improve is the interior decoration - so many possibilities to make this place magical and even more cozy. The service is super lovely
Small but excellent cafe with a great atmosphere serving a great range of food including breakfast. Delicious coffee. Friendly and polite staff. Can get busy. Well worth a visit whether you're a resident or a tourist.
This was the only café in the city with seats on a Saturday, but I really enjoyed having a quick bite here.
The daily special was a French toast that ended up even better than expected. Tasted great, well composed and decent value. The service was friendly and appeared to be a well coordinated team
Oh my lord! These have to be the best scones I have tasted!! Highly recommend, choice of jam with clotted cream....Will definitely be back. Yorkshire tea to brew to your liking. Staff lovely and friendly. Cosy environment.
Awesome breakfast spot! A must-visit if you're in York. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I'll definitely be coming back!

Stopped in for a brew and a cake after a wander round the city centre. Had an absolutely fantastic time - the staff were bubbly and caring, the food & drink were great value, and there was an amazing selection of handmade cakes (very generous portions!). Would recommend to anyone visiting York
Loved it staff were helpfull and pleasant food was very good, cakes all looked amazing and the only problem was choosing. Highly recommend.
Amazing breakfast and coffee. Food was delicious, the coffee was the best I’ve had anywhere in ages and the service was so friendly and welcoming. Would 100% go back again!
