Absolutely wonderful experience at Bengal Brasserie, staff (our waiter was called Saf) were friendly, professional and knowledgeable from the start, making recommendations and finding us a table as I'd not booked ahead.
The food was made fresh to order, quick and honestly the best curry I've had!!

This was by far the best Indian meal I've ever had! The food was perfectly cooked, delicious, and filling. Service was superb from Saf and Jay. Both absolute gentleman. If you're in York, you simply have to visit this restaurant! I will definitely return! 10/10 Stupendous!
Me and my wife ate here before when in york and were thrilled we managed to find the restaurant again years later. Food and service were just as good as before, my only negative was being charged £5 .50 service charge on the bill. Bit much for a couple if pensioner's I thought.

First time visiting this lovely family ran restaurant. From entering we were made very welcome. Service was amazing and the food was delicious. Saj the waiter was excellent. If your in York it's definitely worth a visit. Complimentary drink before leaving was also a lovely gesture. We'll be back.👍👍

This was extremely pleasant dinner for 8 people including 4 kids. The staff is very friendly. The food is beyond my expectations, so fresh and so well prepared. Well done. Kudos to the chef!
The food was really good. It's not often I read a menu and want 6 or 7 items but here I did. Both what me and my friend ordered was brilliant and very reasonably priced our total bill with a few drinks was only £60 between the two of us.
