Partisan - York - Photo album

Sometimes, looks are definitely deceptive. When walking past Partisan, it didn't look all that appealing. It was plain curiosity about the queue outside that drew us in, only to discover what a fantastic place this is. A brilliant range of food to cater for every taste. All served by very welcoming
Lovely spot with great quality food. Plenty special diet needs accommodated. Service always great and prompt considering the marquee extension with at least another 50 covers. Poached eggs cooked perfectly and obviously very fresh due to vivid colour of the yolks. Nice crispy smoked bacon and fab
Dog-friendly cafe! We had a great experience with the food - it was delicious, and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff were also friendly and accommodating to our needs, which was great. We appreciate their deaf awareness and would definitely recommend this place. They do really lovely brunc
Lovely little find while staying in york the breakfast was really good, came out nice and hot. The coffee was amazing cakes were tasty too. We got there just before people were having to queue up for a table thats how great this place is.
Delicious food in a lovely setting. We had brunch with a caesar salad and a choripan sandwich. Both were very tasty. There were also some delicious looking cakes but we didn't try them. There was both indoor and outdoor seating but some of the outdoor was in a marquee.
Lovely breakfast consisting of a delectably French toast with buttery brioche, warm caramel and hazelnuts and some minty freshness. This was delicious and I thoroughly recommend. Service was rapid, pleasant and attentive. I was one of the first through the doors and the marquee was warm despite t
Had a lovely brunch with all the keys for success: great food, tasty cocktails, and nice atmosphere. Above average prices but also above average quality of food
Wonderful brunch experience! We had the staff's recommendations of partisan/English breakfast and partisan eggs and they were both delicious. Staff was attentive and there was a lovely quaint ambience. We were seated at the marquee as we did a walk-in. Will be back next round to dine in the main din
It was recommended to me by one of the concierge team (Ian) at the Grand in York. First time staying over in York, I had no idea where was good for breakfasts so Ian mentioned for my friend and I to try a place called Partisan. Only a short walk from the hotel, it’s situated on Micklegate. The out
Insane breakfast place, writing this review before even having left. Excellent quality and portions. You really get what you pay for and the place is great looking too. Can’t go wrong coming here. 11/10
This is a real find. Great experience with fantastic food and friendly service. The cafe is very small and unassuming. It opens up at the back with a large seating area that has an intimate feeling. The food is excellent here. Really well done with great flavours. The cakes, cookies and other swee
Absolutely loved this little cafe! We couldn't get an online booking so I didn't have high hopes we would get a table. But we got there just after opening and they fit us in. I had the vegan Partisan breakfast and my partner had the ham and cheese toastie. We both really enjoyed our meals and they
Definitely hands down the best brunch spot in York. Wide variety of dishes on offer from your traditional such as eggs Benedict & full English breakfast, to Persian eggs, and Shakshouka. The portions are generous and well priced with friendly service. Plenty of options for vegetarians, gluten free a
Excellent food! We stayed for the weekend and came twice. Would recommend booking as it is very popular - although we only had a short wait without a booking (20mins). The staff are very friendly and happy to give menu recommendations as there are range of choices. Everything looked great, and all t
I had an amazing meal experience in this place. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff was brilliant and very nice as well. Definitely a place to go when in York.
Fantastic little spot and worth waiting for the line to get in. Both of our meals were cooked to perfection, my friend is Celiac and dairy free and you can tell the kitchen took extra care with the allergies. Our server Jo was helpful and attentive. Fantastic spot to try if you're in York.
Absolutely amazing place to visit, everyone I work with had raved about it, they were right to do so! Fig and goats cheese on sourdough was perfection! Highly recommend!
One of my fav brunch places in York. Its popularity meant sometimes the service can be a bit slow. But the food is worth the wait.
