Sometimes, looks are definitely deceptive.
When walking past Partisan, it didn't look all that appealing. It was plain curiosity about the queue outside that drew us in, only to discover what a fantastic place this is.

We had a great experience with the food - it was delicious, and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff were also friendly and accommodating to our needs, which was great. We appreciate their deaf awareness and would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely little find while staying in york the breakfast was really good,came out nice and hot. The coffee was amazing cakes were tasty too. We got there just before people were having to queue up for a table thats how great this place is.

Fantastic little spot and worth waiting for the line to get in. Both of our meals were cooked to perfection, my friend is Celiac and dairy free and you can tell the kitchen took extra care with the allergies. Our server Jo was helpful and attentive. Fantastic spot to try if you're in York.
