Lovely little Cafe next to river and a park. The coffee was nice and so was the cake we ordered.

I don’t normally go out of my way to write reviews but felt this place needed to be shouted about. The menu has items you wouldn’t find anywhere else and they’re executed so well the pizza wraps were delicious and I’m so sad we were only in York for one day and had to leave not knowing when I’d be eating that dish again. Even the fries were top notch. Perfect place to stop when walking the wall with gorgeous views of the river. My only pointers of constructive criticisms would be; don’t use napkins under the food maybe swap for greasproof paper the napkin gets stuck to the food. Also the plates are a little small for the quantity of food so everything was a little squashed and you have to eat through the fries to get to the wrap- not an issue just a thought. But I really enjoyed my lunch there the food was incredible
We had an outside lunch here, but if you ever do that, don't forget to have a look at the inside because how it looked there was a pleasant surprise.

Really couldn't fault this quirky little place overlooking the river in York. Loved all the plants everywhere inside the building. Staff were excellent and couldn't have worked harder. Drinks and food were great!
Amazing bakes and good coffee in a very pretty location. Great for people watching.
We met for a coffee with my friend and we really enjoyed the coffee and desserts. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere next to the river and park.
Loved Dyls...we sat outside under a canopy with an outdoor heater on in the rain, next to the river...we drank summer cider which tasted beautiful. Excellent location and atmosphere. I only went inside to use the loo which was up a winding staircase. Such a beautiful place.
Really nice atmosphere sat outside on a sunny afternoon. I loved that this was filled with mixed ages and demographics. However, it is quite expensive, not so where to go often. Would love to see non alcoholic options and a wider variety of flavours in the cocktails. (The interior was lovely, very cute, though you could tell the decorations haven’t been cleaned since they were put up)
Worth every penny. Had the Yorkshire ham and cheese toastie. To say I’d travel to York just for one of these toasties I’m not lying!
The atmosphere was beautiful by the river. The waitress was so friendly, attentive and polite.

Dyls was a delightful find during our day in York. We sat outside in the very pleasant covered outdoor area, right next to the river as we had our dog with us. Menu really good. Inside has to be seen, several floors with quirky little areas to sit and dog friendly throughout. Look forward to returning when we're back in York
