Cute little establishment seating around 30 covers. This was the first time I've been into this place, and now probably won't be the last. Very brief run down coming up.
2 mains ordered. Spaghetti carbonara, and the spaghetti with mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. Both are very good. An ample amount of mussels, but for me, a little more spice in the sauce wouldn't have gone a miss 😉.
1 dessert of chocolate ice cream. Right up there with some of the best I've ever eaten.

Absolutely amazing. From the friendly, smiley service from all staff, to the amazing fresh, authentic, and delicious food. Such a gem and in a quieter part of town which is nice on a touristy weekend. Didn't try the gelato but it looked incredible and lots of other visitors had it. They also managed extremely well with our large group, with all meals coming out at the same time. Highly recommend
Delicious food - we ordered a pizza, soup of the day (minestrone), arancino, tiramisu, and gelato. All were delicious, great value and tastes authentic.

We try to come here every time we visit York. The Sicilian/Italian food is very good. Nice buzzy atmosphere. Kind staff. It is often busy but you would expect that. Proper Italian food cooked by people (Sicilian I think) who know what they're doing. Good value. Fantastic home made ice cream if you are into that.
Outstanding. We started with the arancini with mozzarella and prosciutto - crisp outside, soft flavorful inside with a lovely center of creamy cheese and ham. Best I've ever had.
We followed it with an amazing pizza (pictured). A perfectly baked crust, a bold, tasty, fresh tomato sauce, and an incredible combination of toppings. That is ricotta, Sicilian sausage, sundried tomatoes, and ground pistachio (which I never thought to put on pizza). It was spectacular.
Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Great gluten free options on mains and superb ice creams to follow. The second time we've been here in two visits to York and would definitely go again.
We had lunch at Trinacria on Sunday, sat outside alfresco with our dog. The food was exceptionally good. I had the seafood spaghetti (from the specials) and it was spot on. The Galetto was also very good. We spent a leisurely lunch and we weren’t rushed by the staff at all. There is a small area inside the restaurant (by the window on high seats) that is a dog friendly for when the weather isn’t accommodating. Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious food, cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly.
My wife and I cook well and love eating out. This lovely restaurant has to be one of the best authentic Italian restaurants we have had the pleasure of visiting.
The Gelato ice cream is also very delicious and made on-site.
Pure delicious Italian cuisine, at its best and very well priced.
Found this restaurant by chance on our trip to York.We really enjoyed a simple evening meal of pizzas and ice cream.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
