Awesome place, great service, great food wonderfully presented. Delicious fusion of Indian and Chinese flavours! A few things to be aware of: the mains are extremely reasonably priced, but rice is more than you'd expect it to be; and drinks...bottle of ghurka beer is brilliant - a really nice beer, but it's £5.99! Nearly as much as some of the food dishes! Plus, my wife wanted shandy, but they didn't know what it was, so we ordered lemonade and a bottle of Stella to mix ourselves, but their lemonade is still, cloudy, extremely sweet stuff - deffo not Schweppes! Overall though it's a great place, and you're sure to have a great meal �
Our second visit to the restaurant........ absolutely beautiful meals a mix of Indian & Chinese cuisine but with more flavours and tastes...... we'll be back for more samples..... home Nepalese cooking at its very best..... highly recommend the Momos ( pork / lamb chilli dumplings....wow!!!) and the special Everest fried rice is out of this world!!! 👌🏻
I turned up with a friend and it was great to see the place lively and full. A warm welcome from the staff! The menu was excellent and we went straight for the Nepalese recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Subtle flavours with choice of how spicy we wanted it.
The staff were genuinely friendly and keen to talk about the menu. A thoroughly fabulous place now on my top list of restaurants to go to!
I honestly don’t know why this restaurant has all these bad reviews! The food was well prepared and flavoured beautifully, the staff was attentive and friendly and because we needed to leave right after we finished our dinner they were kind enough to bring us the bill straight ahead as we requested. Highly recommended!
The food is really tasty. And price is also very affordable. We had the chef’s challenge chicken and it is a must try :)
After a bottle of Chardonnay, when you will try the chef’s challenge, it is a totally different experience. It is a must try resturent if you are visiting York because it is just opposite to shambles:)
Very good atmosphere,very spacious, very good customer service with welcoming Lovely smiling face. Food was really delicious and presented very attractive,they got beverage service also .,card payment facilities, toilets etc ... highly recommend in York
My first visit to a Nepali restaurant and it was nice. The momos we ordered were so good and the chow mien noodles were also great.
I wish they served a spicy chilli chutney with Momos that was only missing.

been here twice, every time has been amazing. i always get the set menu!! it’s my favourite and it has everything included like lentil soup, chickpeas, curry, rice, yogurt and tomato purée. my boyfriend got the spicy challenge and it didn’t fail to meet expectations! delicious and certainly a challenge in terms of spice! the service is always great and the waitress we had this time was really friendly! 10/10
Would recommend this place for everyone. Such good food! I ordered their special beer, the masala tea, butter naan, the steamed chicken dumplings and the two bite Dailey soup. The soup was expected to be very small, but was actually quite big and more than enough with everything else I ordered. Would definitely not miss out on the butter naan, Holly Molly.
Beautiful food. Beautiful service. The chicken and spinach curry was wonderfully spicy and aromatic and the momos (Nepalese dumplings) were lush.
I've been planning on visiting this restaurant for quite some time, I was not disappointed. The food was delicious. The staff were super friendly. I will definitely be back
