An unexpected gem with great fresh food and amazing range of refreshing teas. We had x3 tapas style plates and an salmon,avocado and cream cheese toastie....all were tasty and fresh. The iced apple tea was welcome refreshment after a long walk. Staff friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit
We've happened across this a couple of times whilst our youngest son was at cricket training. It is really lovely; great coffee & cakes (the chocolate orange one with ice cream today was fantastic!), friendly staff & quirky yet unstuffy.
I'm disappointed that my son's indoor nets have ended; I won't be in York for ages & I like this cafe!

Easily one of the best. I had a beef burrito with guacamole - absolutely delicious. Really tasty shredded beef, lovely fresh guac with plenty of coriander 👌 All the salad ingredients were really fresh and tasty. Good price considering what you'll pay elsewhere. Will 100% be back next time I'm in York! Or you guys could open a store in the North East???? 😉
My partner and I's first time going in, they explained how to order and the service was excellent, everyone had smiles and was really friendly and happily joking with us and really engaging us. The food was like nothing we've ever tasted before, the absolute best burritos we've ever tried and the staff's recommendations were what really made it, love place overall and will absolutely be coming back, it's worth travelling for as we're not local! Thank you!!
Bought a chicken Burrito, I would like the say its the best Burrito iv had in the UK. Beautiful and will be making another visit when back in York.
For such a small restaurant with only a few seats, you get so much when you eat here. I was served by a gentleman named Milano. Friendly, polite and clearly enjoys what he does.
The burrito he handed me was large and heavy enough to cause moderate trauma if used as a weapon and only cost £8.95. It was stuffed to bursting with pork, rice, olives, peppers, jalapenos, sliced beets, salsa, queso, cheese and green sauce. The quality was great as well, robust tortilla and tasty, fresh ingredients.
There was a short wait whilst he filled other orders but the wait was absolutely worth it. I'd say if you love mexican street food and want this put together by a true professional, the wait is totally worth it.

Food was stunning, very fresh. I had the tacos! Best tacos I have had in a long time. The restaurant was very clean and the gent that served me was very friendly! Reasonably priced and would highly recommend.
We ordered two burritos for takeaway and they were amazing, perfect temperature when we got home, no overspill from the tortilla or excess liquid dripping out, perfect balance of fillings, looking forward to my next one!
