Found a little gem. Food was lovely and service was good too. The price was also really good will definitely go back when we’re next in York

Before going to the cinema next door we were assured of a quick but nevertheless good dinner at Lo Spuntino (which name aptly means 'snack')

This was a perfect evening. We all had such a good time here. The food was cooked perfectly, and so delicious. The waiting staff was helpful, welcoming and very friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better family meal. Will definitely be going back the next time we're in York.
Great food and always great service from the waiting staff and the owner. If you've been more then once he will always say welcome back and you feel like a regular straight away. A lovely restaurant. It was very busy when we arrived, but the staff were excellent looking after us. My girlfriend had the seafood linguini and I had a spectacular medium rare fillet steak. Both were superb. It is a really good, obviously family-run, restaurant.
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Reasonably priced and with a good selection of dishes. The puddings looked very good but we were too full to try them.
Cosy family run Italian. Good food not spectacular. Mains arrived as they cleared starters, on cold plates. Reasonable prices for york. Friendly staff.
Clean, pleasant dining area. Quick, friendly service. A little surprised that pizzas aren't on the menu. Excellently presented, fresh, very tasty food, literally couldn't fault it but a bit pricey for the portion size.
