The Maltings - York - Photo album

Pub handily situated between the railway station and city centre. A cracking range of real ales perfectly kept and dispensed by happy knowledgeable bar staff. My wife confidentially proclaimed the toasted cheese and bacon sandwich as the best she'd ever eaten. The homemade chips were also pretty dam

Stopped at this little pub during a daytrip to York and were very happy. Staff was very friendly and got around to us quickly during rush hour. Pints were good, but food was also quite good. Chips and Cheese were delicious, with the chips clearly home made. Decor was quite nice too! Proximity to tra
Nice pub, fairly close to the railway station. Very friendly service and the place was spotless. Didn't have any food, just popped in for a quick pint, but others were eating and it all looked very nice.
Quick stop here to quench my thirst in the heat whilst in York. Great pub, very popular, was busy, bar staff were helpful, I chose this Lime/Mango Cider, very smooth was delicious 😋, it was one of their specials it cost a lot £8, but it hit the spot & I was full until later in the day, drank outside
I've eaten here once, just a sandwich which was nice. The pub is quirky and has a good drink selection. I haven't seen Britvic apple for YEARS! Fun decor on the walls, clean toilets and super close to the train station. Friendly bar staff and worth popping in for a pint.
The food were absolutely delicious with big portions just under £9. Friendly staffs and quiet. Pretty chill place to hang out. Would come back again.
Stumbled on the maltings by chance on day one, and on purpose on day two!! Quirky little pub with great beer & good food reasonably priced. Definitely worth a try.
Wasn't sure about this place from the outside, but we just wanted a quick drink before catching our train out. It turned out to be absolutely lovely. Small outdoor space, but was beautifully breezy with the doors open inside too on a very hot day!
Very quaint pub on the inside lots of 🐝 r to choose from and good pub food. Very clean and friendly staff. Just across from the railway station and close by the river.
