Krep - York - Photo album

We came for a Nutella crepe but got persuaded to try the Complète galette. Omg were we impressed! So delicious, I wholeheartedly recommend. We came back for lunch and tried the home made lemonade and the Rillettes, it did not disappoint. Great street food.
The most unforgettable crepe of my life. Called TRUFFE! The staff are lovely and swift. No queues although they seemed pretty busy. The crepe is made to an outstanding quality, crispy edges, soft middle, tasty in itself. They’ve created a wonderful combination of fat, umami, flavour, salt and heat i
Great service from friendly staff. The truff pancake was amazing and the fact its all gluten free even better. Fresh made and hit the spot.
Really good galette. Crisp, hot. Great value and good selection of fillings. Saucisse was OK (personally was salty with an average sausage), La Feve on the other hand was tasty with complementing fillings. Would order the classics next time, which looked great and seemed popular with other patrons
Tried the galette with slow cooked pork collar and loved it. Simply amazing from the first bite till the last. Their galettes are the best I’ve ever had. It’s right in the city centre at the Shambles Food Court so there is no excuse to miss it.
The food was delicious! Both the gallete look amazing and you can see plenty of people having it during lunch. The sweet crepes have some of the usual flavors but some other combinations that totally hit the spot. I particularly liked the orange, cardamom, chocolate combo which makes for a great
Fast service. Nice staff. Good selection for omnivores. Husband raved about his ham and cheese (delicious, if quite rich). One vegan option, which has a flavor punch (in a good way.) Would have liked another option though, as I wouldn't want the same galette every time. Portions huge--I couldn't fin
Nice galettes, but to my taste it looks better than it is. Staff are very nice.
Amazing crepes. We tried pistachio and white chocolate crepe for sweet version and spiced pumpkin crepe for savoury version. We relished every bite. Looking forward to visit again soon 😀 It's located in shambles Market. Must street food to try in York
Amazing, unique taste of crepes and galettes. I recommend to try galettes if you want to be blown away. It is value for money so make sure to leave something in tip jar. I wish I could be in York more often but whenever I am there, I always end up in this place
The best sandwich I could find in town spicily the chicken one , the juice was very good and I recommend it with your sandwich, the staff is very helpful and nice, it is a little bit crowded sometimes but it doesn’t take time to get your order , there is a nice area to site down and enjoy next to th
We often eat here when we’re in York. Lovely crepes made quickly and efficiently by lovely staff. Seating is shared between several food stalls and it’s friendly and slightly chaotic. Better value than some of the ridiculously busy restaurants in York.
Saw this place after watching Top Jaw review it on one of their YouTube videos. Got to say, this is the best galette I’ve ever had, and that includes the ones I’ve had in France. I went for the ham and cheese ‘Complet’ option and it was incredible. Taken a normal galette and upped the game with extr
This food place is in Shambles market and has a variety of crepes. I have tried the Strudel crepe which was good although over priced for what is offered as I have seen good cheaper options around the area.
We loved this place. We visited York for a couple of days and went there twice. Unfortunately I'm missing the first photo of my Galette and only have a photo of the crepe. Both tasted great. The Galette was my savory option so the next day I thought I'd go for the sweet one. Lovely friendly staff. I
As someone following a gluten free diet I don’t often get to enjoy foods like this. I was thrilled with our choice to stop at KREP. Beautiful choice of fillings, friendly service and it’s really cool to watch the food being prepared. Lots of options for meat/meat free/sweet and savoury. The price m
WOW. This place lives up to the 4.7 rating. My wife ordered the Complet and I ordered the Chèvre. Both did not disappoint and highly recommend.
We had chocolate crepes which were very tasty, full of chocolate. I would like less butter though because it makes the crepe soggy and less crispy.
