The Exhibition - York - Photo album

Great location, with free off-street parking if staying in the hotel. Excellent friendly staff, and a lovely pub, with a good local beer selection. Breakfasts were very good indeed. We had a big birthday party, in the pub, and the buffet was also very good. We will be back!
This has got to be the nicest pub/hotels we have stayed in. Superb location in centre of York. The staff are the nicest bunch of people you could wish for on your visit. Really amazingly well cooked breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Will only stay here when we
I have been in all the other close by pubs but no recollection of this one..so Booth and Madge insisted we visit. A Cask Marque pub advertising 7 cask ales although I could see only 4 plus a cider. Had a Black Sheep bitter for the first time in many years. Not a fan, quite bland. The pub itself is a
Just returned from a long weekend @ the exi, ideal location for city centre easy car parking. Always a warm welcome from Rose & staff. Lovely breakfast & very efficient service. Rooms are comfortable & warm, the only thing you could do with is some coat hooks or somewhere to hang coats to save putti
First time in a long long while. Traditional decor . Spot of live music and a pint of Brew York. What was not to like. Music not over powering so could easily have a conversation . Enjoyed the music and the pint, hopefully wont be decades before my next visit.
Beautifully decorated throughout the room and other areas of the hotel. Nice breakfast room and bar lounge. However the rooms could to with some practicality improvements such as hooks to hang coats etc rather than have to throw in the floor. And bathroom shelves too small things rolling off it etc.
I've never stayed here so this review is just about the bar, which is one of the most superb traditional pubs I've ever seen. The beers and the staff are brilliant and on top of that the interior is pure nostalgia unspoiled by the horrors of modernisation. May it always stay that way.
Parking situation confusing. Expensive room. Excellent staff and excellent location so close to minster. Breakfast time of 9am to 10am very short window. Overall most review averages are about right 4/5
We stayed here for three nights for a long weekend in York. This is a very nice place to stay. It's very convenient for the city (very close to York Minster). This hotel is a pub that has five rooms above it. It's a nice pub and not a "dive" in any way! All the staff we met were very friendly and he
Discovered this whilst waiting to go to theatre. Friendly service. Good sharing platters. Couldn't see a child's menu per se but sharing platter saved the day.
