Went for our lunch in group of two and the place was so buzzing. We just walked in without prior reservation and were seated very quickly.

Faultless. Three of us had three courses and drinks. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, the cocktails were great, the staff were fantastic. Full marks.
Incredible service, very friendly and very fast. Didn't even have to ask for water for the table which was nice.

Had an absolutely lovely lunch here today! The servers were all really nice and just the right amount of attentive, and really on it with asking about allergies and intolerances! The gluten free pasta was delicious and very filling, and the mocktails are great value. Overall a wonderful experience,

We had lunch on a busy Friday, lovely food and great service, the place in such an amazing heritage setting such as York, just did not have a character. Otherwise well worth a lunch time visit.
We had a large group walk-in at the weekend. Luckily the staff were helpful and we could quickly get the table and settle down. The food were delicious, especially the pasta and risotto, and you cannot miss the brownies. Kids menu is available too! It was a pleasant lunch time at The Wildwood.
This restaurant has the best food. Always, we have a delicious plates and the service is amazing and fast. You have to try it.

Sabina is the best waitress you could ask for! Everyone was wonderful and attentive but Sabina particularly went above and beyond. She was so kind, helpful, funny and talkative. We'd like to thank her for making our trip to York so special.

Great night 4 meals bought. Pizzas & pasta dishes. All our party enjoyed what they had ordered. Deserts & cocktails bought & enjoyed. Staff friendly , service quick although at the time we went in not busy. Will be back.
Good tasty Italian cuisine. On the two occasions we eat here it was close to full with diners being turned away. As it was busy the service was a little slow but the drinks and food order arrived in short order. Well presented and a great flavour in pleasant surroundings.

We just on a whim decided to eat here. We had to wait for a while to be seated even though nobody else was waiting. Staff walked past us several times without looking at us, but in the end, someone finally came up, and she was very lovely. We all ordered pizza but two of them had all the toppings on
Service was excellent. Waitresses very attentive and welcoming. Food was great. Especially the garlic bread with cheese and red onions. Will definitely be back!
We came yesterday for food it was my girlfriends birthday and the staff where so kind! Yes it was amazing service but I kinda wanted to be there friend too they where all so lovely! They popped a lovely candle on my cake for my girlfriend they honestly made us feel at home thank you
Great restaurant in the centre of York, with a fantastic choice of menu items. They also have a set lunch menu for £9.99 for two courses which is great value. All the staff very friendly and quick service. Would recommend.
Loved the Birmingham wildwood so much that we had to eat here after walking by. So good as always! Again we waiting a long time after our plates were cleared for the bill then had to ask to get it. But staff was nice otherwise 🤷🏼♀️
