As a York local this is my favourite restaurant in town ❤️ fresh, delicious, healthy vegan food made with love by a family team who are absolute angels in our community. Everyone is welcome and the food is stunning. There's yoga upstairs and it's super dog friendly and I honestly cannot express how much you should visit this little gem. Oh and did I mention that they have the best view of the Minster in town?

This place feels very homely and cosy. The vegan shepherd's pie special was amazing. Food and drink was excellent and the service was really good. I had a baby and small car seat pram but was able to get in and around the space pretty easily. I'm sure the staff here would help if you had a larger pram or any mobility issues. A little off the beaten track for tourists in York but definitely worth it if you are looking for some decent meat free food. We also enjoyed Ted's (the dog) company.

Friendly independent cafe in the centre of York with a wholly vegan/plant based menu. We really enjoyed our lunch here. The food is excellent and very well presented - doesn't stray into "worthy but full" territory. Can also recommend the freshly made smoothies and quenchers. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Well worth a visit.

What a find! Incredible plant-based food with amazing staff. Wish this could be the standard for every food place we visit. We sat outside in the back garden and enjoyed every bite of our food. If we're ever in the neighbourhood again we'll come back to try the rest of the menu!

Excellent whole foods menu items with a focus on breakfast/brunch. Vegan scones FTW. Friendly staff and glitter themed toilet made this place a great find!

What a fantastic hidden gem! Found it in an article detailing the best vegan places to eat in Yorkshire .. and our first visit did not disappoint! In fact we were back 2 days later with a friend in tow! Lovely place - quirky, warm, welcoming, fantastic view of the Minster, delightful courtyard, and family run. FANTASTIC food, amazing cakes .. SO much choice and all of it so ridiculously good! I cannot recommend highly enough that you check this place out .. do it; you will not be disappointed! *****
