Not crowded, they have seats in and outdoor. Staff was friendly. They have few choices of bread and pastries but I definitely had to try the cornish pasty and it was amazing. Price were decent. Though some tables were a bit dirty, maybe they were busy.

A must when visiting York! The staff is so friendly and the pasties are to die for. Absolutely lovely. I wasn’t feeling like a savory dish so I had the Cornish pudding. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely lunch here today whilst enjoying a day in York. The staff were friendly and kind, Kate served us and she was so warm and friendly. The food is amazing and the coffee was excellent. Would definitely recommend and return.
'Lena' and 'Kate' are always very friendly and polite, they go out of their way to be helpful which I feel should be highlighted to the area manager - the fruit scones and cheese scones are delicious (just like homemade). Would highly recommend.

Great experience at this bakery had a lovely lunch and was well priced. The day we went it was dry but cold so not many out on the outside seating but bet it would be great on a sunny day. I love popping in for the end of day sale and have done so frequently since living in York. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and it's great feeling to help reduce food waste but also get tasty pastries for a much lower price. Absolutely fantastic service here. I felt like a valued customer as I walked in with the friendly nature of the staff, they will do everything to please you and make your experience here top notch. Coffee is hot strong and full of flavour, pasties- the choice is massive.

Fantastic staff and lovely food. It’s a great atmosphere in here and I often visit when I am in town. The coffee is strong and flavoursome, the pastries are cooked to perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for the customers.

Got a recommendation to try the cornish pudding and it was fantastic after never trying it before it was delicious. Also got a few other snacks for the kids whilst we where there. Staff were lovely and so helpful will be returning again when we visit the lovely city of york once more.
