The Greenhouse Tearoom - York - Photo album

Lovely cafe, hidden gem- easy to miss as not well signed off A64 but attached to Vertigrow nurseries. High quality menu with delicious soup and hot options, homemade breads and cakes
It’s lovely, we sat in the conservatory part, good cake and coffee.
A small comfy garden centre cafe. Excellent drinks and toasted tea cake. Interesting choices of cake. The bread on sale was superb.
Breakfast sausage, egg cheese and aioli sandwich was fresh and very tasty. Flat white was perfect. My partner also enjoyed her sausage sandwich and peppermint tea. Well recommended.
Superb cafe! Amazing food, really yummy and very good prices. Staff super friendly, lovely seating area outside too surrounded by lovely plants. Would highly recommend x
Vertigrow's on site café. Welcoming, friendly staff. As it's a conservatory, it is very light. Has outdoor seating and loos and is dog friendly. Reasonably priced menu. Impressed because the Japanese sencha green tea was loose leaf and not teabags. The teapot provided a couple of cups for £2.30. Hom
Went on a busy day when they were training new staff, just before Easter. Service was therefore a bit slow, but the soup and bread we had for lunch was very good and we were not in any rush. Spent a couple hours in the nursery buying plants, a pleasant afternoon.
Didn't actually eat there,as we had just eaten, but definitely a nice chilled relaxed vibe about the whole place no matter what part of this massive garden centre you were in,definitely worth a visit
Always a great visit. The service is friendly/polite/efficient. The food is “Excellent”.
We popped in for a coffee and cake on a really hot day and sat outside under an amazing tree with leafy branches. We ordered the courgette, lime and pistachio cake which was light and delicious. Having looked at the rest of their menu, we will definitely be back for a light lunch.
