Lucky Days Low Petergate - York - Photo album

Have never been here before, but we (the family and I) wanted to find somewhere to have a bit of something to eat, before we headed off home. We came across Lucky Days, as it wasn't too far from Castle car-park and it had gluten-free options, which was a bonus. The lady who served us was really plea
Absolutely lovely! Had breakfast at Betty's this morning and croissant here is better. Lighter, baked to buttery perfection (Betty's was a little dry and over cooked). Orange scone was tasty and perfect with tea. Would absolutely come back and recommend it highly.
We popped in here for a quick snack and to evade a short, slight drizzle after we left York Minster. The staff were very friendly. The home made scone was delicious. It's quite small but very quaint and fits with the character of York perfectly. We arrived just before 12.00 and it filled up pret
We had a lovely breakfast on Friday morning my shakshouka was to die for! The service is excellent, fabulous location and the cafe is dog friendly! šŸ¾šŸ˜Š
Incredible food, service was a little slow but they were very busy. Would recommend hot croissant and toasted fruit bread with butter
Stopped for a bit of lunch and to avoid the rain. Lovely food, the deli item and 3 salads deal was great value. Friendly staff and good service.
Didn't think we would get a seat as so busy, ended up in the loft room were we had to the room to ourselves. Food was excellent and service good. Good selection of different salads to go with the various open sandwiches, etc.
Lovely cafe and great food. The poached eggs were cooked very well. What made the difference here was the young girl serving upstairs. She made our experience enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble. She interacted with our little boy too. Staff like this make a business stand out from the crowd
I love this placeā€” really good food. But, it REALLY annoys me that you canā€™t have a scone without clotted cream and jam already on it. I donā€™t eat cream, so just wanted butter, but they donā€™t keep any aside for people who donā€™t want all that stuff on. Weā€™re grown ups. Weā€™re capable of cutting our ow
This was a nice cafe. The hot chocolate and the chocolate fudge cake was very delicious. They also make their own fresh, flavoured scones which are nice. Itā€™s a little small inside, and the toilets are up several flights of stairs. However, the place was clean and well kept. The staff are friendly t
In my short visit to York, that was the only place I came twice in the same dayšŸ˜ scones, and chocolate & orange cake is delicious.. and they were lovely
Nice idea of sarnie or quiche or soup with 3 different salads you can choose from. Made meal larger than we wanted so shared . Friend had very delicious cheese scone and as it's normally my hubby's choice he was very jealous! We sat upstairs and table definitely needed to be larger as the plates ar
Nicely presented little cafe with really friendly staff. Quick service and a nice menu with plenty to choose from. We visited at 1430 on a Friday and the muffins and cheese scones had sold out which was a shame, but we chose alternatives and they were lovely. We've been here a fee times on our visit
Wow !! So we stumbled across this place and were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. Staff where nothing but kind and the food was spot on, just about Ā£24 for a breakfast for 2 so not bad at all. 100 % would visit agin if in the city
Great place with fantastic and friendly service. Had a breakfast there - was nice, but not minblowing, just decent food. 5 stars for the service though!
