Phenomenal family owned restaurant. Staff are very friendly and provided excellent service. The food is so good and there's so much to choose from with their new menu. My taste buds danced the night away. The atmosphere was very wholesome, calm and authentic. This place is easily in my top 5 restaur
The family and I have been eating here for years. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. The best curry house in York by a country mile. Would highly recommend the mixed Tikka. We often ask the owner what he’d recommend us trying and he never fails to deliver! If I could give it more

Fantastic swift service with very attentive staff. Brilliant food, packed with flavour. I’d never ventured into this Indian before but I’ll be making sure to call in whenever I fancy one in the future. Highly recommended. Ran by a great family as well.

I’ve been to many curry houses across the world. The The Indian Lounge in York is one of the best. Brilliant food and a good range of choices. I never visit York without going to the Lounge.
