La Bottega is a wonderful little Italian place to stop and grab a bite to eat. My partner and I stopped for lunch after walking around the city walls. I had a delicious meat and cheese board and a bottle of wine with a delicious cake to follow. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, as are the

Personally I think it is the best cafe in York. The food is brilliant and the coffee is incredible. Always feel very looked after by the staff. I recommend the Italian board consisting of a selection of meats, cheese, focaccia and olives. I’d I could give more than five stars I would.

Amazing small bar in town with italian food and wonderful capucci. Atmosphere is excellent and there's even books on shelves you can have a look at if you get bored.

Always a friendly experience in there, feel very comfortable going in and always being greeted with excellent customer service. Drinks and food are great and aren’t over priced like many independents.
