Quaint tea room with decor pulled directly from the 1940s, but wow what a find. Tea service was lovely and cakes were to die for. It was so beautifully clean and everything was made and served to such a high standard. If you go anywhere for tea you should go here!
Popped in for a quick take away coffee & pastry. Good stuff here. A bit small to dine in, but it was the weekend so it was a bit on the busy side. I enjoyed the latte I got here.
Everytime we go to this place the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The food never dissapoint us. We love the scones and sandwiches here! Our favourite place to have some tea and a scone.
Called here today for coffee and cake and it was excellent. The staff were friendly polite and helpful and the cakes were amazing. Highly recommend will definitely be calling in again.
Friendly service, nice tea. No mobiles and no children. If you don't like it, choose somewhere else. If you appreciate the break from prams and second-hand conversations pop in.
No mobile phones or laptops allowed, child free zone, delicious food, polite and efficient service, in a 1930/40s themed decor, loved the background music. A very relaxed and pleasant experience.
My wife and I had Lunch today and brought cakes home with us. Absolutely delicious. Next time we're in York, this will be a must.
