Looking for somewhere for a bite to eat and was so pleased we went in here as the meal was very tasty I had a burger and chips my daughter had the pulled pork burger .... The cocktails were buy I get one free which was a bonus..... The meal was delish and the portions were very generous well worth a visit !!!
Basic bar. But friendly bar staff 2 for 1 on cocktails. Great food and drinks at good prices. Would recommend the bar
Saw the menu on the board outside. "fat chips!''. So decided to go inside and order so glad we did, had a fab meal, a proper chicken breast Burger in beautiful Italian bread, with fried onions and with fresh baby leaf salad, and best of all the bowl of ''fat chips'' Devine! really well presented, looked so pretty on the wooden platter. also enjoyed a lovely big cup of hot chocolate. Our orders for meals were taken really quickly, and didn't have to wait long for our food to brought to table and it was piping hot waitress was really helpful, friendly and cheerful and gave us advice about places to visit in York. ''Dusk'' really made us feel welcome and has a nice relaxing atmosphere , and is clean and tidy, with comfy seating, just what you need, after a shopping spree in York! really enjoyed it! thank you again, we will be back again! Just popped in dusk as all I wanted was a coffee, the que for Starbucks was huge so I decided to pop in to dusk. Excellent choice as the service was excellent and the coffee even better!! The even found a takeaway cup so I could take it back to work with me
Visited York from Sheffield yesterday, our cocktails were that nice we came back for more before our train home. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff
Wishing I was still in York to get cocktails here again, they are the best!

Although York was buzzing with Christmas shoppers we managed to get a table very easily. Had panini's, coffee and cocktails. All excellent. Good service, comfortable surroundings.

I wrote a previous review while very drunk in their well priced 2 for 1 cocktails. They’ve just renovated the place and it now has much more space which is good. Service is always amazing and the staff are lovely

This place is a hidden little gem! After a disappointing entry refusal due to having a pram from the eatery next door, dusk welcomed us with open arms to their spacious venue. The staff were SOOO friendly and catered for the children in our party ranging from 3-9 years. It was spacious and welcoming. The drinks were insanely cheap but good quality and the food was SCRUMPTIOUS. we had the sharing platter and I couldn't recommend it more!! Excellent quality for money! It was a lovely place to catch your breath, have a rest and some yummy food during a busy Saturday outing in York. I know where we will be eating during every visit from now on!
Has improved a lot in the last year or so, drink prices during 2-4-1 are hard to beat anywhere else, good service and nice atmosphere. Been coming here for years but it's definitely feeling like a nicer place to get a drink or two.

Great pizza, amazing staff and good prices... Lived in York for years and never been before, been twice now and excellent every time! On our go to list now. Would recommend the cheese pizza, fresh, crispy base, brilliant toppings, simple but very very good.
Have played a few events here and the sound system is pretty good. Overall, a good bar and they do deals (2 for 1 I believe) for cocktail shots. The morgan piers cocktail was particularly good.

Called in for drinks on a cold rainy day after enough walking around York. Staff were very nice & polite.
Nice enough pub, not many real ales but if your into larger or cocktails then you will like this place.

A hidden gem in a beautiful city. The place was quiet and had a very relaxed atmosphere, a great selection of drinks to choose from. The food menu whilst small, has some great dishes to offer. The food we had was lovely and the hygiene was spot on. The server was polite and made the trip better than most. 10/10, will be going again
Good value tasty cocktails, nice atmosphere. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor.
Basic but in a good way. When the touristy bits of york get a bit much it's a nice relief. Throw a few candles or glowy lights on the tables and it would be a place to linger for longer.
