A lovely fish & chip shop which is a 10 minute drive from the York south west Premier Inn. The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the prices good. The added bonus is it stays open until 9:00 p. m.

Great little Fish and Chip shop. We've just moved into the area. We'll definitely be using them again. Haddock and chips were lovely. Battered Sausage great. Peas were cold but I'm guessing this was a one off. So handy that it's just round the corner too.
I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Portions are massive and always brilliantly cooked. Well priced too. My favourite in York and il frequently pass up the whaler to go here!

I can't recommend Butler's enough. Great service and unbelievable value. Easily the best fish & chips in York. A large bag of chips was enough to feed 3 adults. Will definitely return.
