The Roman Bath - York - Photo album

nice wee haunt, some good crisp Amstels mid morning in the midst of a hot day. Nice staff and good chat with one of the regular locals. We'd went downstairs to the actual bath museum some years back. It's also a really interesting building given what it was. There seems to be good entertainment PM (
Not a bad pub and drinks reasonably priced. One thing they need to do is ban dogs when they have live music. I was in there last night and a inebriated selfish couple had a small dog with them, which was getting in the way of customers. I saw at least three people almost trip over it. Not only is i
Lovely place, kareoke night every Wednesday was a surprise but didn’t disturb too much as finished at 11:30pm. Lovely clean room. Close walk to Shambles market and 6 Min walk to Minster.
Stayed in York last Friday night, followed our ears to the music. Styckleback were playing, fabulous music from all decades starting with the 60s. The pub was packed but we managed to squeeze in a corner between two lovely couples. Service at the bar was very good & quick, drinks were lovely, atmosp
Stayed for the weekend and was great right in the center of York so everything's super close by and also had two live bands on over the weekend which we was informed about well in advance the band on Saturday absolutely killed it with some great covers and the whole atmosphere was amazing will 100 p
Great place to stay very friendly great pub and good food, but if you stay be prepared for early deliveries by brewery which wasn't an issue for me as I'm an early riser, it is what it is your staying above a pub I loved it
Pub cheerful and good food with reasonable prices. Museum below is interesting. Very small and staffed by volunteers, who enthusiastically speak about the history of the site. Worth a visit!
Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Great location, and if you like history there's a Museum below it!
Proper good Pub grub. They didn't have any coleslaw left. The Landlord insisted the next drinks were on the house. Top Geezer. 10/10
Excellent location, staff very friendly and room was nice. Would definitely stay here again
We booked this late for somewhere to stay. In that respect it was great. But if you are looking for a pub open afterc8pm, forget it.
Small but friendly pub in the heart of York. Live music on the evening we visited- played some good stuff.
A very small museum in the basement of a pub. pretty much just the remains of a hypocaust with a few props, but for 3.50 for a bit of kids entertainment, it's pretty cool.
Nice clean pub with ales on pump. Friendly staff and locals. Had a Boltmaker. A really good brew 😛
5 stars to the man looking after the site. Looks like a bygone place but he will explain you everything you need to know.
Limited ale selection and the music was LOUD, but nice staff and a great venue.
