Absolutely lovely little place, amazing food great atmosphere and brilliant service, if I could rate it higher I would! Would definitely return!
Very well presented . A lot larger in side than it looks . Garlic bread excellent, mushrooms good. Only had room left for a pizza to share which was nice and thin exactly how we like it . Along with a bottle of wine . A very nice meal. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Me and my husband went there this evening- we made the BEST decision. All we can say about the food is AMAZING starters- meatballs and mussles and the mains were also fantastic- chicken with mustard sauce and fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. Everything was super hot, fresh from the kitchen (you can see them cook your meal). The side veg was lovely and as my hubbie can't eat potatoe skin i cant tell you how nice it was to have peeled potatoes. Honestly I can't stress how lovely the food was tonight! Best decision you will make! We will be back a lot!
After wandering around York looking for a place to eat, this little gem appeared out of nowhere. A cracking menu with good wine - and one of the few places to serve gnocchi instead of pasta. Would recommend to both small and large groups.
Restaurant is rather good and suddenly has no people there at Saturday 5 pm, although the nearest streets are crowded. Linguini with smoked salmon is tasty, and a chocolate ice-cream is from real dark chocolate.
Great little gem. Nice, cosy and warm atmosphere good for a date night. Food was lovely. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended!
