This costa is a bit of a curiosity, located in an old wooden structure in the busy station. It's not spacious but it's uniqueness made ot well worth a visit.

Excellent coffee, staff were very friendly and efficient, exactly what you need when rushing for a train. Really pleased and definitely above average for Costa.

I was waiting with friends at the station between trains just after Christmas, and we saw this coffee shop by the platform. I was delighted to be served by such a cheerful young lady – I think her name was Cate – on such a bitterly cold day, and the coffees she made us were first class. I like Costa coffee but this barista certainly makes them just right, and I thoroughly recommend, that if you're waiting at York station – itself an architectural wonder of the 19th century – look for the Costa counter on Platform 9... and hope that barista is serving! Happy New Year to the Costa crew.
Great setting in the old signal box. Friendly staff working well together. Clean, pleasant surroundings. However the photo shown is not accurate as this Costa is at the top of 2 sets of steps with no outside tables that I could see.
Always good great Latte coffee. Staff always helpful friendly & polite. My favourite coffee shop.

He was very sweet, engaged in friendly and humourous chat. It was his first time making a mint choc chip cooler drink and I told him it was the first time I was trying it to put him at ease.
It tasted the same as all the others I've had so brilliant fast thinking skills!!

I thought I tried this in the neighborhood of the train station for food. Tasty CAKES in York. When I was there it was a pleasure. And hope to come back again when I can travel and I will when Corona is gone away enough. Thank you.
