Even though it was about 10 am on a Saturday morning the ground floor of this cafe was full. I had surgery the previous day on my wrist so could not lift anything. Before I ordered my food I asked a lad behind the counter if someone could carry my tray upstairs. I got the impression it would be too

I love Costa so much and right now am obsessed with there white chocolate hot chocolate. The York shop is very warm and welcoming and staff are amazing and chatty. Always love visiting here:)
Amazing friendly staff especially at that time or the morning, it was clean and good coffee. The toilet was down but they directed me to the nearest place I would be able to go which was helpful.
Friendly staff, track and trace in place. Tables cleaned before next customer can sit down. All done to government guidelines.
Went in here for a cuppa with our family to escape the busy streets for a while. It was nice and quiet, The staff were friendly and there was a huge selection of cakes available which we all enjoyed with our hot drinks.
Honestly solid coffee, decent price and very smooth, pretty impressed and would give some of the smaller coffee shops a run for their money

Decent Costa, I bought the premade toastie and a smoothie so can't comment on the coffee brewing skills. Decor is fine, similar to other Costas

Costa Coffee in York is spacious and near the market area of the town. When in town I always try to pop in.
