Had a great time - great staff on for Fathers’ Day. We had a table booked for 5pm & everything went great - food lovely & staff were friendly, funny & extremely helpful!�
As always the staff go above and beyond and today was no different , they made our farewell meal extra special thank you �
We had a fantastic time here today for my dad's birthday lunch. Our waiter Jacob was excellent, not only was he a great, friendly waiter but it turned out he's a magician and he performed some tricks at our table whilst we waited for our food! Made it a really memorable experience. The food was great too and very reasonable also. They even brought my dad a birthday desert with a candle in without us asking. Fantastic service and all round experience.
Service was quick but food took it's time. Décor is still in the original style but that makes for a comfortable visit. Prices were decent. Parking was ample but it was a quiet time.
Very friendly service. Breakfast prices not too bad. Coffee and tea are refillable and I treated myself to a larger breakfast as pictured.

Katie & the whole team were amazing, especially Chloe who is in training - so lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, kind & funny - already a star in our eyes!
The welcome was wonderful by all the staff, nothing was too much trouble, the service was excellent. The food was quick (even though Katie warned us there weren't many staff & therefore there may well be a delay in the delivery of the food), hot, full of flavour & delicious! There were 7 of us & we all loved our meals & evening, we would all highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you guys!
Went from a possible disaster to a perfect night.
We arrived and sat down 3 adults 2 small children. We ordered drinks etc... got the kids settled. We then ordered food and were told they had no dough. So our favourite garlic bread and pizzas were out the question. Such a shame.
Lovely Katie was sympathetic and so kind to my children. We were offered a couple of on the house wines and an 'extra special' dessert for my kids for after.
We were made to feel very special and it turned into such a lovely night! Thank you Katie and John. Lovely attention to detail and customer service! Lovely food as always! Thanks guys l!! X
This is our second visit to York Clifton moor Frankie and Benny’s, both times we have been served by Beau and what a delight she has been, my daughter has several allergies and I could not of asked for a better server, nothing was a problem. She took her time to go through everything with us and went through the menu on the tablet. On both occasions Beau took the time to talk to both my children so they weren’t left out of the conversation and made sure all our food was spot on. I would 100% recommend asking for her, she is an absolute star ⭐️ We will be back.
Me and my partner went for food Wednesday and we were amazed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were to us! We got seated straight away and our waitress was so polite and cooperative when we were ordering food and drinks. The food service was prompt and was delicious! My partner had the steak and it was perfectly cooked as he asked. Highly recommend this place for food and Thankyou again to our server for doing an amazing job!
Myself and my daughter came in this evening and the service was fantastic. Both waitresses were happy, chatty and informative, Katie (apologies if it’s with a Y) was great. Made sure we had everything we needed and still made time to chat and interact with customers. Although the restaurant itself was quite quiet, the kitchen were super busy with online orders so there was a little wait on food but when it came it was hot and tasty as usual
Had a fantastic meal out, they were very busy however let us know there may be a wait and were extremely friendly and polite. Ended up not being that long of a wait and Katie really couldn't of done more for us, lovely touch of getting a cup of squash for my little one. Will definitely be going back.
For a family friendly experience you can't go wrong. The kids were catered for well, with a good menu and attentive staff! The adults food was also good, not fine dining, but good food at a reasonable price. Happy kids happy parents!
