Have been ordering from this Chinese since we moved into the area and have always had speedy service and lovely food! Would definitely recommend.
We visited the Crispy Duck on Christmas Eve whilst staying in York . We called in on the off chance and it was full of locals ordering or collecting (always a good sign) The first thing that struck me was the staff -the lady on the counter was lovely and really friendly -apologising for the 25 minut

Always good quality, well cooked. It's also true to the genre of 'fast' food.... Always cooked fresh and with the minimum delay. I can't recommend the Crispy Duck highly enough. Excellent!

This is our Chinese takeaway of choice, even though we have York Tasty House a short walk from our house (Leeman Road area) we would rather go the extra distance to collect from Crispy Duck. Our reason is because the quality is so much better. They’re not the cheapest, but it shows in the taste that

Fantastic takeaway - food is really good quality and the green/red Thai Curry is surprisingly good! I used to frequent Wing Lee in Rawcliffe a fair bit and this certainly has the edge. The fact that Crispy Duck seem better organised with less wait is just an added bonus.
Chinese take away. Fresh food, flavoursome and lots of choice. When in York and want a Chinese the Crispy Duck is our go-to. Point to remember, they are strictly cash only.
Excellent Chinese takeaway. Always good service and like the way you can see the kitchen and watch food being cooked. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
