Just want to say thank you, yesterday my 3 year old was sick a couple of times in the shop, he was covered, I was covered and the staff were so kind and helpful. One was there with blue roll, another came with a bag to put his clothes in, someone else came with some water, they were all chatting to him telling him it was okay. He was upset at first but soon calmed down because of this. Such lovely staff
Very good Tesco easy to find things that you want to buy. Cafe is very good also lovely food
Excellent customer service this morning from a young guy working on the magazines. We couldn't find a book my son wanted, the guy had continued to look and came and found me with it!
I would like to thank Sara who went out of her way, on her way home, to exchange some damaged Tassimo Pods that were delivered in my home shopping order today. Much appreciated. Excellent service.
After taking my 3 young ones shopping for the first time today.which I was anxious about.2 members off staff made chat with me about my two youngest, the lady on the photography section in the pink uniform was so lovely and we chatted a while and she was more than helpful in what I wanted .also a lady on self service took the time to say hello to my children and told me about herself having two young ones close together,I find the staff at this Tesco realy friendly and helpful! But theres always two women on on self service always stand out and always offer to help, defo makes my stressful experience less stressful xxx
most pleasant visit nice food and nice staff keep it up Tescos
This Tesco store is generally well laid out. It has a reasonably sized clothing department upstairs which has some great clothes at fantastic prices, particularly shoes and kids clothes.
In the main part of the store, as well as the main food and drink aisles, there are departments for books and magazines, homeware, kitchen appliances and other electrical equipment and seasonal sales.
If you can get in at the right time, you can pick up some good bargains, however, it takes a while to work out what the special times of the day are!
Don't park in the carpark and go to the college as you'll be fined £75!
We were given 15 minutes to shop at the Tesco in York for alcohol. We went in and made our way to the aisle. I didn't have time to browse but the place was gigantic. I can see why they are one of the biggest grocery chains in the UK. The alcohol aisle boasted beers, spirits, and wines from different parts of the world. The prices seemed reasonable so I bought some canned mixed drinks since we weren't supposed to bring glass into the New Years Eve party in Edinburgh. The registers are plentiful and I wasn't carded. Granted the drinking age is 18, so there was nothing to worry about. Our tour manager later confessed that it was fun to watch us all scramble and that 15 minutes was an unreasonable amount of time for us to shop. Noted. Thanks a lot.
Good sized Tesco extra store on 2 levels on the way into York on the A1036 just off York's outer ring road (A64).
A fairly large Tesco extra with extensive ground floor food and non food areas as well as an upstairs clothing range and cafe.
Has a decent electrical, toy, homeware, sports and entertainement range as well as a full counter service along the back of the store along with all the usual fresh food counters (fish, hot, bakery, etc.)
There are loads fo tills and it's usually easy enough to get through the check out quickly.
There are 4 self service check outs in this store.
Also has large car park, filling station and car wash. There is also a hand car washing service available in the car park. It is adjacent to one of York's Park & Ride car parks with frequent bus services to and from the city centre.
I like this Tesco because it's really big and there are normally loads of tills open so not much queuing to do. They sell everything you would need including clothes, electronics, all groceries, and homeware. Prefer it to the other big Tesco in York.
a large supermarket, and a great place for bargains, sells everything you would need cant fault it
It’s brilliant! They charge similar to a fast food place yet the food tastes very fresh and good quality. Would definitely recommend and it would be good to see more of these popping up in cities and places as it’s really good quality food. My personal favourite so far is the souther fried chicken rap for lunch (that’s in the image) but I also want to try the Halloumi muffin for breakfast. The staff are really friendly and uplifting as well which is a great bonus. :)
One of our favourite places for a quick breakfast or snack. Staff are really friendly. Lovely chilled atmosphere.
Excellent experience, the Staff are so attentive. The food is good and the cafe spotlessly clean
Lovely cafe with a really nice atmosphere. Lovely staff, especially Kim who made my 3 year old sons day.
The food here is really good for a supermarket cafe, cheaper than most restaurants too. The service is also really quick. We've eaten here for breakfast and lunch. All good. The only thing to avoid is the sausages, they're a bit cheap and taste full of cereals. I recommend the eggs royale, a beautiful, light and healthier breakfast.
Yeah it's Tesco, but the food is good, the service is good and the prices are good. 10x better than its sister cafe at Clifton Moor.
Fantastic staff. Good, decent food and great coffee is served here. Worth a visit? Hell yeah! 👍🏻
All of it was amazing, people who give it 3.5 and below are weird nd don't know what top quality food is. The service, staff and food is excellent. Would definitely recommend this to people in that area.
Good service, food was as you would expect from a supermarket cafe - nothing special but freshly cooked and good value
Lovely staff and great food
