Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Cote with excellent gluten free choices, all labelled with the allergen flags. The restaurant was not too busy so the noise levels were good. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Two of the mains were slightly overcooked but the others were perfect. Will be back.

My experience at Cote York was delightful! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, and having a quiet table at the front of the restaurant with a window seat allowed us to enjoy both the excellent cuisine and a charming view of the street (particularly as I’m nosey and like to see what’s going on!) I had the rump of lamb with ratatouille and my partner had the moules and frites. Both were cooked well. For dessert, I had the elderflower creme brûlée which was lovely and my partner had the salted caramel chocolate tart which he was delighted with. I highly recommend Cote York for a fantastic dining experience!

Excellent service, dinner and atmosphere. Everything was very clean there, staff very friendly and helpful, and the dinner was very very delicious. Glutenfree menu is available as well, so that was awesome.

So you want to know what do crossaint people eat on a daily basis? While here it is! Côte is where you’ll find it!!! Côte York offers two menus, Ala carte and the Fixe menu. Tonight I chose the Fixe menu. The Fixe menu offers a starter, main and a dessert. For a solid £20.25. Which is a bundle, I’d say. For starters I order the Moules (Mussels), it is served in a bowl of light tomato chilli broth which pairs excellently. Albeit, my camaraderies and myself have uncover that there were several overcooked and undercooked mussels. Next was the mains, I ordered the frugal grilled chicken. Cooked to excellence, juicy, tender and paired with a umami packed mushroom cream sauce. The arugula cuts the fattiness of the sauce which was a great addition to the dish. Lastly was the Blueberry clafoutis, it is paired with a ice cream and blueberry coulis. The coulis breaks down the sweetness of the clafoutis and the ice cream cools it right down to where it is warm. I enjoyed it. So if you want to have some fun with your taste buds, come to Côte where they serve a exquisite budget priced meal. 🍽️ 🇫🇷

Delectable pre fixe menu: champagne, olives, crab salad, potatoes au gratin, pork belly, and elderberry creme brulee. It was all sooo good. And the ambience inside was a nice respite from the hectic touristy streets outside.

We had a lovely birthday meal here. The food all came out hot (we had a party of 8) and was delicious. The staff were particular friendly and nothing was too much.

Lovely restaurant. I've been to Cote before but not this one. Excellent selection of food including festive specials. Good selection of white wine, which I don't normally drink. Also good selection of non alcoholic drinks. Service was impeccable and we were not rushed. I do recommend booking though, particularly at weekend. Was very happy with final bill.

We didn't have a reservation but that wasn't a problem despite a couple of large groups being present and it only being 5pm. We had a fix-prix menu at under £20 with plenty of choices. Waiting staff were prompt,polite and friendly without being intrusive, and the courses came in good time. Each dish was delicious and just the right amount for us.

Very good French cuisine. The food was excellent. We both were very pleased with our orders. We had onions soup, cheese goat tart, beef bourguignon, croque-madame and gratin dauphinois as a side. Although I originally received à croque monsieur (instead of the croque-madame) the servers were quick the correct my order when we pointed out the error.

Always a consistently good meal, my feeling used to be its expensive for what you get but I do feel now that prices have caught up and whilst others have raised their prices Cote have not. I must add it is one of my wife's favourite food chains so I am forced to eat here whenever we visit a town with one. Staff are always efficient and friendly.

We are used to visiting the Cote in Cardiff Bay and it was useful to visit another in the chain but the quality of service and food was the same, excellent. It would be wrong to name anyone for a special mention as they worked as a very good team. I don't often visit York but will be back.

Had a lovely birthday meal at Cote. The winning dish was definitely the Cheese Souffle for a starter. Absolutely gorgeous. Service was brilliant. Overall a lovely experience.

I was in a quite a large party which may have had an effect on the speed of service. It was a very slow start to our meal though. The food is ok but I found the beef bourguignon too heavy with garlic and salt. The meal portions were also small for the price. Not the most attractive interior but this is a chain restaurant so they can’t do much about that.

My last Cote meal in Farnham did not go well, so I was a little apprehensive about this restaurant, but i was pleasantly surprised. We shared a meat and baked cheese platter as a starter, which was nice. My chicken and mushroom main was nice, but on the small side. My wifes half chicken was great. The staff, though busy, were really nice and helpful. A nice touch was that our waitress pointed out the added service charge and asked if a new bill without serive charge. It was a good meal in a nive atmosphere
