Not as great as some reviews claim.
I have ate in better ones, and worse ones. Some food was warm and okay, other food was okay but cool. Some chicken dishes were tough to chew. The pork chops were tough also. The mashed potatoes were a little runny and no flavor. The corn was tasting a little watery.
No chicken wings at the lunch buffet. Also no wonton soup.
Also no fortune cookie, just a candy mint.
You pay upfront. Lunch buffet was $8.47 with tax. I just had water with the meal, which they only offered to fill once. Staff was friendly.

Amazing food. My daughter is constantly asking to go to Aroma. My family and I stopped going for many years after opening because the food was always cold and chicken a little rubbery. But the last 3 or 4 years the food has always be OUTSTANDINGLY AMAZING. I would recommend Aroma over any other buffet in York. Mainly because of the price and food quality for the cheap price. If you have kids make sure you visit the chocolate fountain!!!!

Great buffet with open spacious dinning. Wide selection of desserts, fruits and veggies, entrees, and a great sushi bar. Food is always fresh and delicious. They even have an icecream case, with single serve cups! Also great for the little ones or picky eaters, with options like fried chicken, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and hamburgers. They also have a large salad bar and a fresh fruit bar as well.

Good solid food that I stop by the have when I'm in the area a few times a year. They have a 50/50 menu orange Chinese versus American. I usually stop here to get the sweet carrots from their beef pot roast, reasonable sushi, chicken that is on par or slightly better than Royal Farms (not usually a chicken guy but here has a almost unique flavor to it that makes me want to take a bite) and tapioca from the cold bar. I would have raided 3 and 1/2 to 4 but the carrots were harder than normal and not as sweet plus the sushi was not as fresh as normal. Pleasant wait staff!

At one time I had given this place a 5 star rating. That rating stood for many years. However, over the past few visits the quality has definitely gone down. The food was warm, some actually cold. Some buffet items had to have been on the bar for hours. I got some shrimp, when I started to peel it there was a very strong ammonia smell. I stopped there and left. This place was once a gem. I don't believe I will be back.

Great price. Abundant selections and great salad to start my meal. Pickles were a little sad ,but the seafood salad was the best I’d ever had in a number of states. Lunch time? Get in early! Friendly staff and the food was delish! Was especially happy with the corn fritters. My wife enjoyed her egg drop soup! I had several plates and ate every morsel except one pickle 😃
