Such a good meal and for a great price too! Service was great and the vibe was good even if I was a bit early so not many people there. One of the best chicken burgers I had. Doesn’t result in a lower rating but would’ve liked more coleslaw! 😁
Amazing food, best we’ve had in years. The service was excellent and the cocktails delicious all very affordable for the great quality. Dog friendly as well.
We went in for Taco Tuesday but ended up getting loads of the menu because it all sounded amazing. The tacos were fantastic, but everything was, we had popcorn shrimp and Mac and cheese, both were excellent. We’ll definitely be going back.
Fancy Hank's food is amazing, as is the service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is so good, with all sorts of options that we'd definitely go back for! The service wasn't rushed, nor were there huge waits for food and drinks either. All in all, a lovely time.
Our own downfall was that we were sat on a tall table with high stools that weren't super comfortable or made for larger bodies.
Visited for dinner, took advantage of the happy hour cocktails (you have to get two of the same one, so bring a friend and get 2 different ones each!), had a really lovely meal! Staff were friendly and chatty, food was served quickly. A great place to go for a bite to eat!

The food arrived really quickly, and really hit the spot, better than we expected, proper tasty. We ordered the special burger, and a mix of lite bites, so like halloumi fries, wings, belly pork, and buttermilk shrimp, hmmmm highly recommend.

The place is vibrant and has an excellent choice of alcoholic drinks. I attended with my son, who is in his early 20s and I think it caters to that dynamic more. The non-alcoholic drinks choice was limited to a £5 shake or pop. A few mocktails would be a good addition. Our service staff was inconsistent and we ended up being served by 3 different people. Our food waitress forgot our instructions for our food which was disappointing. An automatic 'service charge' is added to our bill which I think is the tip. I don't like that, a tip is if you give that bit extra in your service, I wouldn't have given extra as nothing was great. It was just standard. My son might visit again with friends but I won't. There is a lot of choice in York. On a final note, I have a hidden disability and the one shared toilet isn't great for disabilities.
Excellent food served by pleasant staff. The menu serves a good selection of foods and drinks.
