Lovely place with additional seating downstairs. Loved the Pizzas & the wine. Great dog friendly place too. The dog got some scraps of meat as a treat & a huge bowl of water. The staff are very pleasant too. The waiting and bar staff were very friendly & polite. The boys making the pizzas were great too. Nice place, worth a visit.

A lovely little pizzeria that serves one of the best Neapolitan 🍕 you can find in the UK. It was a great welcome for us to start our holiday in York. The range of flavours they have is incredible and the gooey cheese in the pizzas make you đŸ€€. One bugbear was the lack of more options in desserts, but there are multiple other shops nearby that can satiate your need for something sweet. This is one of the must eat places in York, and the friendly staff are equally delightful too!

Incredible food - had simply the tastiest take out pizza we’ve ever had (named as Nduja punk which was a sublime explosion of flavour) and, genuinely, a dessert, which can only be described as the dessert of dreams ! It was a banoffee caramel and biscoff topping also on a light chewy pizza base and, believe me when I tell you, this is seriously ‘next level’ stuff - this was the best pizza and dessert take out we have ever tasted. Wish I lived in York - I’d be in this place every week. Also, while waiting on the order, you could sense the very laid back and relaxed atmosphere, what with the tasteful decor and subdued lighting, you could tell it made people feel like they were at a friends house or dinner party. It was obvious from the bustle of fresh pizza and drinks flowing every few minutes that people were making plenty of fuss about how good everything was.

A lovely intimate little pizza place with great service and delicious pizza. The cocktails are pretty great too, the barrel aged Negroni came smoked which was simply sublime. The G.O.A.T pizza was delicious and super goats cheesey, while the hot honey and salami was also excellent. 🍕

A wonderful place with lovely staff and ambience that lives up to the title of best pizza in York - great quality product and very generous portions, left me absolutely satisfied. The Pizzas go well with a beer, especially the IPA. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We stopped by for an impromptu pizza last night and was so impressed by the quality and taste of the pizzas! Can’t believe we hadn’t come sooner!!! We sat at a table outside with our dog and chosen our pizzas from the online menu. It had a simple list of pizzas which suited us to the ground! We wanted something to go with our drinks!! When the pizzas arrived, they were hot and fresh! It has to be one of the best pizzas we’ve had! The base was thin and airy and flavours were delicious!! The portobello and truffle one was amazing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming! It’s a great location to watch the world go by! We will definitely return again with any hesitation! Well done to the team for putting on great food & service!!

Smallish pizza place on the shambles market area of York. Staff couldn't have been nicer and service was great. Music was boringly dreadful, and had to ak for it to be turned down. Food was good but plates were cold, which caused the food to col down too quickly. Food was a very fair price for the location.

We went for Diavola, Butternut, Salami & Hot Honey, Nutella Dippers and all were amazing. The Diavola is really something else. One of the best Neapolitan style pizzas I ever tried. It’s simply because of delicious and fresh dough and bread strips. And finally the oscar goes to “York Gin Outlaw”. Just to mention, the whole experience would be excellent if the service was more regarding.

This is a young fledgling pizza house, I gave them 5 stars because they are working really hard and will bake you a fabulous tasty pizza. It's not as posh and swanky as the bigger boys on the block but the restaurant is tidy and has its own identity. They are young and enthusiastic team who care about their product and will look after you with a personal touch. They are seriously punching above their weight and producing good food. Only criticism was the choice from the bar. I was able to find something and they did say the bar selections will soon be changing. Be prepared to order your pizza on line from your table. I say give them a go, let's big them up.
